Texas Recruiting Notes 2022 - Idiotic Slapfights Unrelated To 2022 Recruiting
I thought it was pretty clear once you saw his frame, length, quickness combo that he had a chance to be good. Then you add his motor and see how seriously he takes himself/his craft and you think he's more likely to maximize his potential as a result. He's ahead of schedule. The more surprising development is seeing how ahead of schedule Tapp is against the run.

kstate ran 102 plays to iowa states 35 they both had about the same yardage wild stuff

These missed false starts are adding up too.

Noles get away with the massive hold that allows Rodemaker to escape. Then Gators make it worse by landing a huge hit after the gives himself up. Hopefully Filsaime is getting a first row seat of how poor this team's discipline is.

Was Jordan Travis coaching too? What the hell

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
BYU stopped the run and went up 24-6 on the road. They let Ollie get going and OkSt walked them down. We aren't likely to let him get going like that with any consistency.

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
Both of these teams are complete ass.

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
All they had to do was make the extra point. All they had to do was get a sack. All they had to do was make that pick. OkSt has the momentum though. Shouldn't have even come to this

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
They lost like half of their starters to the portal, including their starting QB from last year.

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
BYU is selling out to stop the run and Bowman is trash. The OkSt OL is also not holding up very well.

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
This is fucking insane. This game should have been a cake walk for these losers. putting the ball in Bowman's hands was never going to be the way to win this game.

BYU @ Oklahoma State - ABC
BYU is bad bad, but Oklahoma State is pretty bad if Gordon isn't stealing souls.

tOSU @ Michigan
Tough call, but Michigan's D is salty. I'd still want to take the 4 yards for the guaranteed win.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls
Hayden Conner has actually looked better the last 3 games. I think he'll do better next year in the SEC. He seems to struggle more with small, quicker guys.
-
tOSU @ Michigan
At worst, they had shared possession going to the ground. Offense has priority there. They called it a TD on the field, nothing clear to overturn that either. Hell of a throw by McCarthy there.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I agree with you. He's made good strides this year, but the ability to see the field is a longer curve skill. Hopefully the delay of his NFL career will let him build upon the improved maturity he showed this past offseason. Hopefully he picks up on that deficiency and addresses hard ahead of his final year. Fortunately, he'll be seeing easier coverages next year with the improved OL, RBs, and SEC meathead tendencies.

2024 Transfer Thread - The Pedantic Circlejerk
The only way we would engage with Stewart is if he comes correct and Ewers really pushes and vouches for him. It was more of a Sark recruitment than a Coleman one, and Stewart's group created a lot of bad blood in the way they went about their business.

Injuries
If his shoulder was actually an issue, they wouldn't have played him late like that.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I'm a big Ewers fan, but his lack of field vision has been a recurring theme going back to last year. He is who he is at this point. He's great if things are schemed up for him and sometimes he can even thread some balls into tight windows, but when it comes to creating on his own, he isn't that. I appreciate the fact that he's the best we've had since Colt, but I also believe that distinction will be short-lived. Hopefully he balls out the rest of the way, then comes back and makes major strides over the off-season to become a first round draft pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Injuries
It was definitely Catalon. Probably just wanting to get him some live reps ahead of next week. I still have no idea what his injury was. Hyperextended knee?

Coaches need to be aware that losing the next game will leave them without a Big 12 Championship
Not only is this game a revenge game from last season, but this game is for a Big 12 title and a shot at the CFP. They'll be ready. Things get really exciting if we win the conf title game. Team can get healthy and they get a month to prepare for an opponent.
