Hey PK -- What would you say you do here?
That's a weird metric to evaluate talent with, but...sure? Their WRs are plenty good for this level, they generally eat against zone, but guys like Bradley and Price have had success for much of the year in key situations. We've definitely been abused by worse. Shit, Savion Williams went for nearly 200 against us and he only has 525 yards on the season.

Tech's WRs aren't bad at all. They struggled to handle the physicality of our DBs. The most surprising play by the secondary was Jerrin Thompson picking up a WR on the boundary during a corner blitz. He was in phase, but he didn't have to defend for long. Tech couldn't block our front and that made it impossible for their guys to get anything going consistently.

Texas O-line talk
Too nasty. Gotta rein it in a bit and keep it closer to the whistle

Eleven win Steve!
There was no hero ball needed for this team to be productive. It isn't driven by Bijan, Rojo, Brooks, Baxter, Quinn, whoever. It is the Sark playcalling and play designing. There will be production as long as there is decent blocking.

They have to literally pull their jerseys off for the ref to think about calling holding in this game. That tech tackle was holding onto Finkley's hand like a child holds his mommas hand in a crowd. Sark needs to make this game much simpler on offense. Too cute. They need to surround Brooks and never assume he's tackled.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I mentioned it could change during the process, either for the better or for the worse. It’s definitely riskier than coming out next year as a more likely top 3 guy.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
They don’t. Quinn is currently seen as the 7-9th rated draft eligible qb. It may or may not change during the process.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls
That's too bad, but he'll get a chance to make a case for himself here before transferring to UTSA or Incarnate Word if it doesn't work out.

Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
None of those major guys listed are going to take "prove-it" contracts. Elko/Fisch could if the base is high enough.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: Duck Around and Find Out
Landon Jackson has turned into an early day 2 guy, despite a rough start to his career. I don't think Lance has the same upside, but we could definitely do worse.

Point and laugh at Shaka Smart
While I understand the concept of schadenfreude, there is plenty of grasping at straws going on here. Shaka has proven that he isn't a fraud with the work he has done in his short time at Marquette. Now he's got this scrappy team of afterthought players doing very well against a very good KU team.

Aggy 2024: Still waiting on the Looch 44
Additionally, the moment they get a guy that has a decent/good year or two. The market/his agent will get rid of all that incentive shit at the first opportunity that presents itself.

2024 Transfer Thread - The Pedantic Circlejerk
Holmes always lacked physicality, but he's not able to turn and run with any confidence either. So he plays off, gives up the catch, then misses the tackle. I doubt he's anything more than spot depth next year. There's more upside elsewhere.
