I think we have to go forward w/ Fabinho + Gomez as our CB partnership even if Matip is fit. Dude is so unreliable that you can't expect to get more than one or two games from him before he's out again and we need Jomez and Fabinho to build some rapport and establish an understanding.
Obviously we'd miss Fabinho in the midfield but we've got good depth there and both Hendo and Wijnaldum can play the #6 just fine.
I've always been impressed with Nat Phillips but I understand why he's not been in the first team plans. Well, until now.
Progress isn't linear and all that, but I'm a little disappointed that Sepp van den Berg hasn't been mentioned as a potential first teamer.
Hard not to read that entire passage in Biden's voice. And that's absolutely the answer he should give, except that there's no way Trump will let him get a single word out.
Just because we all need something to cheer us up:
This is one of those goals that, inconsequential as it was, I absolutely remember exactly where I watched it.
So, worst-case scenario is VvD and Thiago out for the year. Assuming we move Fabinho to CB, that leaves us a bit light in the midfield. Any chance we can get Grujic back?
