So many Major League fans were whining about the last WBC. Especially once that reliever from the Mets injured himself celebrating, not even playing in the game. What do these losers think these players are doing all offseason? Sitting in a vault wrapped in bubble wrap? They are doing intensive fitness regimes that are probably more physically demanding than just playing baseball games. It is so stupid. Like if we just shut down winter leagues so college baseball players wouldn't bruise between seasons.
This is one is shockingly stupid. I mean ok it isn't unusual for NFL teams to hire failed retreads but the Steelers have always hired young defensive coordinators as HC which would be a perfect move in their current situation where they need a long rebuild. But instead they are hiring some old retread offensive coach? For what? They don't even have a QB for him to mentor. They have no QB, nor are they in position to draft some future star. Why abandon the Steeler Way™ for Mike fucking McCarthy? Such an obviously bad move. I am not sure what the Steelers are thinking.
People are sure losing their damn minds crapping on a rookie QB who had the misfortune for starting games for the Browns. That is kind of hilariously stupid. Anybody is going to suck in that situation. People are really emotionally invested in this guy succeeding or failing to a degree that is irrational and hilarious. Having said that, probably shouldn't be in the Pro Bowl...not that the Pro Bowl matters.
The Aggies have always finished higher than us...next year. Anyway I looked at our 2026 schedule and I think there must be some mistake. I don't see Georgia anywhere.
What? Actual games mean nothing? What bullshit is this? Do the playoffs mean anything? Do any actual games have anything to do with what teams or conferences or better or is it just 100% vibes and nothing else?
I guess. But not in any practical way I can see. We had ICE during the Biden administration. They deported shitloads of people. To the extent it was, it was political bullshit. But maybe I am not seeing something obvious. Which is very possible since this is not, personally, an issue that I care about that much. Sure I don't like criminals but I don't personally see immigrants coming into this country a big problem. Or at least not a problem that rises to anywhere close to the level of our other problems.
Well look if we abolished ICE and brought back INS and how things were done before who is the staff going to be? The same motherfuckers. Even if we do abolish ICE the criminals and thugs need to be purged out of law enforcement.
All that needs to happen is bad officers need to be held accountable. Aggressively. Granted with ICE that is basically everybody in the agency. But after all the killings of civilians that happened the quote was always "it is just a few bad apples" well a few bad apples ruin the bunch. If we are not to abolish ICE it needs to be thoroughly purged of criminals and thugs. Training, accountability, and professionalism needs to be a high levels. God knows there is more than enough money allocated to this agency to do all of that. They are better funded than most militaries. Speaking of which our country is heading to a major debt crisis so maybe ICE will soon be abolished anyway as we cease to be able to fund anything.
