Tell me about ou
Agreed. 41 points looks like two field goals and I don’t see two drives stalling. IMO, if Texas doesn’t hit 40+ it will be for much the same reason Texas only put 31 on Michigan: it will be more than enough against in incompetent offense and just getting out of there will become the goal. If, god forbid, Texas needed 40+, Texas could get 40+, imo. I don’t see OU doing much with the ball. Barring turnovers, Texas is likely to have a decent number of possessions and decent field position against a D that realizes it has no support.

Week 5 2024, Mississippi State @ Texas
Zero down, two to go. Unlikely to get both this season, but not impossible.

2024 Random Games thread
I didn’t see anything indisputable to show me that VT didn’t come down with the ball in bounds for the winning TD. I didn’t see anything indisputable to show me that VT didn’t bobble to ball at some point until it was touched by someone out of bounds. Either call, TD or not, should have stood. But, I’m just some random guy who watches football with no stake in the conference.

Joey Aboussie. Not everything I remember is something I want to remember.

2023 DL Sydir Mitchell
I remember telling him Texas was going to beat Alabama by 10+ and Ewers would outplay Milroe and he was having none of it. Seems so long ago.

Also. One play from being 21-7 and they’ve looked pretty poor since that point.

No way it was good from much farther back, though.

Yeah, fuck Woody Hayes. Why is it surprising that someone who says “fuck Woody Hayes” or wanted Texas’ schedule to look better in 2024 would trend toward Michigan? Especially since Michigan’s 1969 win over his team paved the way for Texas’ championship. Seems pretty clear to me. Maybe reread for comprehension.

I love my daughters but cocaine doesn’t grow on trees. Well, you know what I mean. Whiskey works well enough.

Week 5 2024, Mississippi State @ Texas
He seems like kind of a badass. It sounds like Sarkisian’s take on the culture he wants to build is really solidifying. It was cool seeing him in that Ewers video, too. It makes me smile when Texas kicks ass on the field, but even apart from that it makes me smile that guys like this are wearing the burnt orange and white.

What interesting is that that’s where your mind went. Maybe flashbacks?

Coors. In a can. With actual pull tabs that came off. The kind you’d step on while barefoot at the lake. It was a different time.

FFS, I drank Coors at like 6 while sitting in my granddad’s lap to steer his truck. I could shift a column-shift manual at the same time. Good times.

I’m down to watch a bag drag someone and leave skid tracks on the field doing so.

It also made someone old enough to remember when Michigan wore maize pants — why, oh why would anyone screw with that — smile because, well, fuck everyone who is dismissing 2024 Texas all the way back to Woody Hayes.

Well, someone could nod, but excellent distinction between spoken and written agreements. The world needs more clarity.

Seems to me that contract law already applies to NIL, doesn’t it? What more do you need?
