  1. Au contraire I work for 1-800-EAT-SHIT
  2. Yes. And it's been true long before automated systems -- not just AI -- were first introduced. Businesses and workers that simply listen and communicate directly with customers always have a leg up, given a valuable, desired product. In our own work, customers tell us they love how we actually answer phones and talk to them immediately, and don't send them through an endless phone tree.
  3. Nah we're good. Usually it's an accumulation of relatively minor injuries across the majors roster that fucks with a season. THIS year we're getting a major injury to the best minor leaguer we have before the season even starts. World Series return trip is locked in.
  4. Detailed article on the law firm investigating this. They also investigated Sarver, Sterling and pretty much every significant NBA case since Donaghy. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7041653/2026/02/13/nba-investigation-firm-wachtell-kawhi-leonard-clippers-scandal/ What's going to be interesting is that this case - unlike Sarver, Sterling etc - has Kawhi in the middle. I'm firmly "fuck kawhi" for his past bullshit. But as the article covers, Sarver wasn't ousted until players (and then corporate sponsor) spoke out how the NBA didn't do enough. If Silver only gives Ballmer a "tsk tsk" slap on the wrist, would players or anyone else actually speak out if the evidence shows he shouldn't get off the hook? Particularly since this isn't a socially charged issue like racism. It's billionaires doing billionaire shit and most people are pretty jaded on that by now.
  5. If Musk learns from OceanGate and promotes his Moon trips similarly, he could actually keep his promise on this one. "As deep as 4000m" - they got pretty darn close. The wreckage settled at around 3800m. "We'll take you to(wards) the Moon!" ... and even further when the Grok-et® misses by a few thousand miles and a few lucky Musk-eteers go on an insanely cool, bigtime journey to the outer reaches of the solar system.* *One way. No refunds.
  6. We'll always have that horrendous point guard experiment where I knew Pop was nearing the end.
  7. Well, this whole thing is just who knows who. And then over here you have favoritism.
