Cunningham knew she was splitting time with Oldacre. He plays the roughly half the game each. I assume he sold her on that Preston and Lee are pretty tight.
First round should be the week after CCGs, play your QFs a week later (so that top 4 seeds get literally a one week BYE, not 3 weeks), don't be afraid to play the weekend of Christmas for the semifinals and then NYD for the title game. But the bowls won't allow it.
Yes - Cunningham knows Vic has wanted her for a long time. He recruited her heavily out of HS. I think Carlton sticking around after last year means she is in it for the long haul. I think both will be here in 2027. Yes, I do believe so. Spaight will play a lot too. Don't forget we basically run 3 potential "point" guards on the floor this year - Preston/Harmon, Lee and Booker. Like anyone can forget Booker ran the point for 80% of a season after Rori's injury. So really, Lee and Booker can "help" Preston as the primary ball handler, but Spaight is pretty damn good (leads EYBL in assists per game). Yes, Texas will likely look for a prototypical center like Oldacre. We do have Asbrink Hose redshirting, but I would not be cool going into 2027 with only Cunningham, Asbrink Hose and Etutu (who is only like 6'2).
I was trying not to bring up that game but new coach, new team, playing at home But yeah, we may be cooked for March if we lose this one. So, um, don’t. Thank you for your attention on this matter
We can pick up anyone who hasn’t found a destination yet. Grad transfers, as said for the 815th time, do not have their own window anymore. There is only 1 window for everyone. It has passed.
Texas projected as the #3 seed https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-playoff-2026-early-projection-predictions-bracket/ 3. TexasThe Longhorns learned the hard way in 2025 that an early season loss to an elite opponent before SEC play backs your team into a corner a bit. Schedule strength within the SEC is supposed to be a priority for the selection committee, per Steve Sarkisian, and in 2026, we think it's going to benefit his team. If Texas topples Ohio State in Austin on Sept. 12, that will give the Longhorns some breathing room in the playoff discussion later on. And with new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, chances are he has already glanced at Buckeyes film. With Arch Manning back and numerous impactful, highly coveted transfers joining the roster this spring, this could potentially be Sarkisian's best team at Texas, which includes two previous playoff semifinals appearances.
Hannah Wells will likely be 1B/DP/spot pitcher as she adjusts to D1 hitting - potential to be a future Elish who can pitch and hit. We have a resident Hannah Wells stan on this board. Caigan Crabtree, MaTaia Lawson and Jaycee Nichols will be future infielders - one of them will end up starting at 3B Alissa Sneed showed off some ridiculous power in the fall - she is going to force some tough OF decisions and also be able to DP Mike, in his signing PC, compared the incoming freshman to the following players - Crabtree - HR power of Atwood Lawson - Shannon Rhodes Nichols - Mia Scott/Janae Jefferson
