Baxter has 7.2 YPC in the first half. Just an FYI.

Whitt never came down in bounds. Bullshit call and forced us to burn a TO.

"Quinn is holding the ball too long" No shit. They're dropping 8 into coverage and he can't read a defense to save his life. If his pre-snap target isn't wide fucking open, he has no clue who IS going to be open. The key to beating us is to play 3 high safeties and only rush 3, forcing Quinn Ewers use his brain.

Safeties gonna cheat up on that slant and get burned deep. Watch.

Yup. ISU has a history of knocking off top 10 teams. Getting jobbed and losing to them at home wouldn't draw much scrutiny.

Texas vs iowa state - 7pm on Fox
Been saying all season that Quinn Ewers cannot process information quickly enough. He has almost no pre-snap read and when he does, it has nothing to do with the actual defense. He just compares the defensive alignment with the WR Sark schemed the play for and little else. He can't see how the defense rolls or sits when the ball is snapped, only how they were aligned. Hate to say it, but he doesn't have enough mental horsepower to get it done. If Sark schemes the perfect play, he'll get it there. Anything else is a crapshoot.

LFG! TEXAS!

9-1
Yep. And it's nobody's fault but our own. Don't lose to Oklahoma on the last play of the game and it's a non-issue.

Week 10, 2023: Texas at Iowa State
That's Sark's problem. He's a brilliant schemer, but because of that, he looks for too many wrinkles. Everything is cute. We have talent for days. We just need to run regular plays - run right, run left (well, maybe not left ), crossing routes, slants, delays, wheel routes, and take some shots deep when the matchups are there. Utilize Whittington, Sanders, and Cook more. Tie up the LBs and Safeties with those dudes, and force the corners to handle Worthy and Mitchell without help. Lose all the bubble screens, throwbacks, and insane route trees that the WRs and Ewers can only execute to about 65% effectiveness anyway. Ewers has arm talent for days, but can't process quickly enough for that shit. Make it easier for him to sling it with that golden arm of his. Do that and we win out, with or without Brooks. We have an embarrassment of riches at RB. Brooks is all-world, but losing him shouldn't kill us.

Texas vs tcu - 6:30pm on ABC
I'm not talking about the WRs. I'm talking about Sark's play-calling and refusal to throw over the middle of the field. Crossing routes, slants, etc. have been non-existent.

Ah, in the CONFERENCE championship game. I thought you meant in the CFP. You can understand my confusion. My fault. Hook 'em.

USC can get WRs open in space. Oregon can get WRs open in space. Washington can get WRs open in space. LSU can get WRs open in space. Everyone not named Texas can get WRs open in space. Of course, they use all 3 thirds of the field and we only use the sideline to 5yds in. And Ewers has reverted back to his poor footwork/throwing off his back foot garbage from last year.

Huh? We have to win 3 more and hope the rest works out.

Terrible throw. Great catch. Heart attack averted.

Face it, fellas. There ain't a lead that is safe with this team.

Do we throw slants anymore? Crossing routes?

Texas vs tcu - 6:30pm on ABC
Total Yards were 300+ to roughly 100 at the half. TCU has basically flipped that in the 2nd half. 428 to 351 now.

Defender got a little extra tweak on the leg that was completely unecessary.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Cooper is, by far, the most athletic of the 3 brothers. Very widely known in New Orleans, the state of Louisiana, and among those who know the Manning family. Arch may be a dud, but if he's got his dad's athleticism and his uncles' QB/football IQ, then he'll be an against-all-odds bust.

LSU @ Alabama- CBS
Dallas Turner's signature move. Same shit he did to Ewers last year.
