As dirty as that TCU hit was, damn is it gonna pay off. No Gabriel the rest of the game and the guy who committed the penalty isn't even out at all next week. Strong timing
"I'm not proposing you go out and murder these people. I just want you to know they're rapists and murderers and drug dealers who want to take your jobs and make you support them financially. It's also fun to trick them into getting in transportation to other states, aka kidnap them. And I also know a bunch of the people listening to me are unhinged racists who jerk off to guns."
So you'reright, no legislation authorizing murder but the right is constantly spouting very thinly veiled threats against certain groups of people, so sadly it's not shocking that these atrocities are committed by the exact sort of people you would expect.
At least Bolsonaro may lose in Brazil? For some reason, realizing much of the world is nearly as dumb/racist/greedy as us is not particularly reassuring.
No shit. If you want to curb immigration, go after the hypocritical fucks who hire them in the first place. Of course, then they will bitch about prices of goods and services rising. It's much easier to lay the problem at the feet of the Democrat party. So fucking dumb.
Haven't paid as much attention this last week with football starting, but it's starting to look like getting behind every game isn't necessarily a sustainable winning strategy.
I'm curious how tickets and pricing work for the US open. I imagine the main courts are their own ticket and you can get entry to multiple of the smaller courts on a single ticket? I'd love to go to even a non-major professional tournament.
I played growing up, but probably played a dozen times the last 15 years. I moved to Austin a couple years ago and one of my buddies has been getting into the sport so I've started playing a lot more. Wife just surprised me with a Babolat pure strike so I can finally hang up the 20+ year-old Wilson whatever that probably hasn't been regripped or restrung in a decade. Can't wait to try it out.
I did a Portland, Columbia River Gorge (before some dumbass kid burned down the Eagle Creek Trail with fireworks), Bend, Crater Lake, Oregon coast, Portland road trip with the now-wife about 7 years ago. It was incredible. I don't know how we fit that all in 8 days. Crater Lake is mesmerizing.
I went there in 2013 for a game against Wazzou. I got drunk off of aggy tears (and four loko) watching the texas a&m Manziels snatch defeat from the jaws of victory prior to the Ducks game, so it's all pretty hazy. They wore pink helmets and the people around us seemed to tolerate three drunken Longhorn fans who were at their game for some reason. I have no recommendations, but here's a picture. Hope that helps!
If I wasn't so pissed about immigrants, student loan forgiveness and wokeism, I would definitely think we should direct some attention to this whole climate change thing. But alas, bigger fish to fry at the moment...
China is experiencing a taste of what we all have to look forward to
And before you come here to post "Hey, the Yangtze River is still there, NBD!", EuroHorn, lowest levels in recorded history seems kind of significant.
Perhaps it's a step on the way to making things catastrophic instead of apocalyptic. Obviously we're not going to avoid consequences, but limiting them is still important. Would have been nice if we started taking this shit seriously, oh, 30+ years ago.
