  1. we do it similarly. santa brings each child a big present and then one for all of them together. the rest are from us.
  2. Like others on this thread, our approach has been simple. If you believe in Santa, he is real. If you do not believe, the magic of christmas no longer exists. and NO ONE wants that. I repeat, NO ONE wants the magic of Christmas to stop. My jr in college at UT still believes in the magic of Christmas and still gets excited when he hears Santa's sleigh bells ring right after I finish reading the Night Before Christmas. Santa has impeccable timing. He along with our 4 other children all run to their beds and cover up their heads and go to sleep when they hear those bells... As for why people want their kids to be grateful to Santa instead, its not about credit or gratefulness. Its about believing in the greater good and that if you are a good person then good things will come your way. Its about encouraging believe in innocence and doing the right thing and not worrying about who gets credit for it. Trust me when Santa is putting together a basketball goal AND a trampoline on Christmas Eve and doesnt get a wink of sleep before the kids wake up, he doesnt give a damn who gets credit. He just wants to see those smiles on his kids faces.
  3. i have coached against him several times in 7on7. He is a stud. Good arm. Good feet. Great anticipation. Y'all got a good one.
  4. well, if they make it past Judson, they have an even bigger challenge waiting in North Shore. If they can beat those two, I like the rematch with Allen.
  5. he is 6'2+ and growing. still pretty thin but in a good way. he has progressed as a QB over the course of the season. it will be interesting to watch what he can do against Judson this Saturday. i dont think LT has the offensive line to make it past Judson but if Card has time, he can do a lot of damage with his arm or his legs.
  6. That sucks. Sorry to hear GB. He is a good QB.
  7. Wilson loves Coach Day more than Meyer.
  8. Actually, I think the defense has been good this year. There are a couple of holes in the secondary but the front 7 has played really well. The offensive line was their downfall against WL and will be against Judson or NS.
  9. How does Lewis compare to the top realistic prospects?
  10. Yes I did. It was tongue in cheek to your previous post where you falsely assumed I was saying kk sucked as an oc because he wasn't a good hc. I never made that assumption. You did .
  11. Nether. I said it in addition to my thoughts on his offense because fud brought it up.
  12. Holy shit dude. Everyone else: kk is the greatest thing ever! Don't question his greatness! Me: eh, he is alright. You: that's not the same!!!! No shit. It's time to get back to recruiting.
  13. No, I did not. I did not say he sucked as an offensive coach because he sucked as a HC. I said I dont prefer his brand of offense AND he sucks as a HC. You're fucking dumb.
  14. uhhhh its what i have been saying the whole fucking time. shit, dude take the time to read before you respond. eh, not really. LT runs a blend of Morris/Wall spread with Herman's spread. Its more of a traditional spread than anything.
  15. i never said it did. reading comprehension much?
  16. nah, not really. i just dont prefer KK's offense. NFL analysts? yeah they pretty much are half wits. oh, you hurt me with that Wilson comment. i dont know how i will ever recover... ok, so i guess if we are not paid millions to coach football then we shouldnt have an opinion? get the fuck outta here.
  17. not really. im just more of a fan of the power spread. im not saying KK is the worst coach EVAR! im just not claiming he is the greatest thing EVAR either. he is an innovative offensive coach. but i dont really think he stands out that much if at all in the B12. and he sucks as a HC.
  18. I like Andy Reid as a coach and trust his opinion. But holy shit, everyone just needs to take a deep breath. This if Kliff fucking Kingsbury that we are talking about. He is not the greatest offensive mind the history of ever! Despite going through one of the worst periods in program history, Texas beat the miraculous KK 4 out of 6 times. But yall go right ahead with your bro worship.
  19. i like what the Rams are doing but its my understanding they got most of that from blending different aspects from the offenses of the Saints, Pats, and Falcons. Again, I would not call the Rams offense an air raid offense. I know the Chiefs are putting up a lot of offense but im not a fan of Mahomes. he looks like a less talented Favre to me.
  20. oh im a big fan of the spread offense but not the air raid. i prefer a power spread. i dont think the air raid works all that well against the top teams. i dont think it has ever worked well against the top teams. it puts up lots of yards but typically stalls in the red zone and struggles in general when talent is equal. i dont think KK is the foremost of the air raid offense and I dont think that version of the spread is really blowing up in the NFL either. i guess he is a shiny toy but i will leave that part to you.
  21. not necessarily. shit, i thought mike leach did a better job at tech than KK.
  22. oh i agree. so whats the deal with everyone going crazy about KK if he is just every offensive system there is?
  23. i dont get it. i dont really care for KK as a coach or his version of the air raid scheme. it works, like any other system, when he has better athletes and doesnt when he doesnt. so at SC, it will work most of the time but inevitably fail against more talented teams.
  24. so according to Rudy, Cohen isnt saying anything different than Trump except Cohen is lying. How does he know? Because Cohen is a liar so thus, ipso facto, he is lying. Lawyering is easy.
  25. and his 7on7 coach is big ole Ed Cunningham.
