I was actually going to use the solution for guess #3, but second guessed myself and ended up using a word that didn't use a letter that I knew was in the solution. I done goofed.

Ripple got a split decision in its lawsuit with the SEC. Ruling said crypto sales on exchanges are not investment contracts (securities).

Coinbase v SEC also started today.

I watched Synchronic last night. The beginning of the movie seems like a disjointed art house mess. But once the protagonist starts his experiments, it all starts to make sense. It was a fairly novel scifi flick with an offbeat style and I enjoyed it.

Fiat flows to the top.
If the SEC approves Blackrock et al BTC spot ETFs and the Fed stops raising rates, BTC is going to get some serious wings ahead of it's next halving event.
I forgot to mention, the chart posted recently about CEO compensation that started this tangent - it's no coincidence that it went parabolic after 1971. It would be interesting to see that chart overlayed with charts of the Fed's balance sheet and/or the money supply.
1 - Pay (salary) isn't so much the issue as bonuses/equity if you understand that the Fed has been purposely driving an equity asset bubble
2/3 - There is zero downside risk for the handful of companies that the PPT/Fed proxies are pumping to keep the indexes up and the common folk watching their 401ks happy. I'm pointing out that CEO compensation is not, as you posited, rationally tied to their performance. They are beneficiaries of our insane monetary system. When the Fed creates money from thin air and that new money flows into their pockets disproportionately to everyone else, that's a problem with the monetary system and something I may have griped about once or twice here and there.
4 - I did not posit that CEOs have responsibility/blame for the equity bubble. They do have some control over how their company's equity compensation is managed don't they?
4* - My alternate proposal is to impose constraints on the Fed to enforce a more rational monetary policy (which in turn would constrain Congress on fiscal policy): click if you dare
Are you positing that CEO equity wealth is a (reasonable) function of their performance and not a windfall side effect of a Fed policy induced asset bubble?
De-dollerization is a growing trend, but mostly in non-USA aligned spheres (ie. BRICS & 3rd world). It surprises me to hear that there is pushback on using dollars for international trade coming from the EU. Things happen gradually and then suddenly I guess.
Watched this over the last few days. i found it oscillating between interesting and infuriating. A lot of their experiments were deeply flawed (if not outright designed to manipulate the results [like the matchmaking one]) and/or did not support conclusions that they were representing.
D&D Honor Among Thieves - I expected popcorn flick. Film met expectations. Had more laughs in it than I expected. Parts of the story/action didn't really make sense and/or progressed too fast, but whatever, don't sweat the details and it's a fun enough ride.
