Shocked as well. He has so many ball flights working for him that this kind of setup should favor him but alas... They've mentioned it a few times on the broadcast but his feet do look extra shifty this week and his short range putting is going as poorly as usual.
3 pars through one of the hardest stretches of the course after the back to back bogeys for Spieth. Par 5 coming up next. Doing what he has to do to get back into this.
Judging by the timing of your posts, you should switch to the Open's website featured groups coverage - looks to be slightly ahead and better commentators.
I usually like the Sky Sports coverage of the DP World Tour so I would think that this isn't the case. This feels like the same tired old bullshit coverage we get from NBC week in and week out. CBS + ESPN is the way.
I think they are one in the same. But I have no real basis for that other than it feels right.
One in the same as it pertains to green blemishes. From the fairway caused by the club, they are divots.
Looks like bent grass. Those greens always seem to take divots, even repaired ones, really poorly in Texas.
Don't sweat it, I've missed worse. Still love the game.
CP is a good case study in "opting for free agency" vs. getting a transfer with a year left on your contract. CP wasn't being used by Chelsea. If he stuck around, it was highly likely he would continue to go unused. More than other sports, being "in form" matters and a player that has played as sparingly as CP has continuing to play sparingly for another year will causes his wages on his new contract to absolutely plummet. He's incentivized to get a new deal ASAP and start playing again to stop that freefall.
Similarly, Chelsea want a fee for CP - they paid a lot for him and would like to recoup some of that. The won't recoup any of that if they wait a year and his contract expires. Similarly, CP's wages are quite high especially for the value he brings the club. That's money spent better elsewhere though Chelsea have gobs of money so this may not be as important to them.
Both parties want to move on and it's in their best interests to move on.
Now... Someone do player loans next.
Bernie is bad ass. Easily the best color commentary on the broadcast.
I think her first race was a bit rough - you could tell she wasn't comfortable but that she had a wealth of knowledge and insight. Now she's all around awesome.
I think we just use the On3 composite, does the dirty work of aggregating everyone for you.
Would it be possible to have a list rather than tiles where we can sort by the columns (stars, position, name, HS, whatever...).
Thanks for putting this together! Makes parsing through all the recruiting mayhem a lot easier.
Pre injury, CP10 was one of the bright spots on that Chelsea team (Kante being the other), hence why he was given the 10 jersey in the off-season. Then he got injured against Arsenal in the FA final (I think....) and it's been mediocre at best since.
It's fair to say the injuries have fucked his career but that's part of being an athlete. He's also had a good run without injuries now so hopefully he's turned a corner.
Love the Williams look - half of the union jack is a nice touch. Wish AM could have kept the Valvoline in all white like the rest of their sponsor logos.
The only product I've used on pine that turns out ok, pre treat or not, is Rubio monocoat. In general, pine is a bitch. Even if you paint it, you have to primer + sand a few times or you'll see the grain.
