Not well, Harlan played to stuff the run and pressure the qb and let the dbs match up 1-1. It worked.
Drip qb got hurt and the defense fell apart.
Defense has been the achilles heel all year.
Thanks. It's difficult to compare teams when there's so few regular season comparison points. Drip - Buda Johnson - East Central - Harlan is the closest comparison and we all know the transitive property is unreliable.
I like Drip's chances and think they can probably beat the NB Canyon/Brownsville Vets winner if they get past Harlan.
6A-D2 Region 4 all comes down to Vandy vs. Steele next week.
I take my kids to a little Mexican restaurant every Friday morning before school for breakfast. This one came on and it took me right back to my kitchen days. Had to get my server to type it out because I'm a pinche gringo. Figures that it's already here.
Another one from the kitchen days:
Ok, I've thought about it, and I've always been on team "words have meaning", e.g..
Bean Stew != Chili
Confit Byaldi != Ratatouille
Fried Chicken Sandwich on a Bun != Chicken Burger
I will refer to what I made as CFSSFCC or "Chicken Fried Steak Style Fried Chicken Cutlet"

Not going to longcat multiquote, but god damn! This is why I love this site. I've spent some time out in the medina/bandera/edwards county area, but never with locals. I love that there's a highly regionalized specialty like Parisa. I know what I'm getting the next time I head out that way.
Thank you!
Yeah, I’m using fish sauce in most sauces and braises these days. It gives a more flavorful umami boost than msg alone. Edit: also use a lot of anchovies for the same reasons.
Use whatever was in the fridge and pantry chili:
1.5# Brisket Trimmings
1.5# Ground Chuck
1 White Onion
1 Small Bell pepper from the garden
4-5 small tomatoes from the garden
Chile paste from rehydrated guajillos, anchos, and puyas
4 cloves garlic
3 Tablespoons cumin
1 Tablespoon mexican oregano
Whatever was left in a carton of beef broth (~1 cup)
1 Tablespoon offFish sauce
Salt to taste
