Such a dumb take, like that could possibly be the standard. I guess Matt Nordgren should petition for a full 4 years, he basically played 0.2 seasons of college ball.
Think of the lies this administration is telling about this murder when there are multiple witnesses and clear videos that show exactly what actually happened. Imagine the things they are lying to us about that aren't lucky enough to be caught on video.
At ten he would probably enjoy Lost. I’m sure some people will respond about how the ending sucks but it’s a fun ride. Some violence but Stranger Things is significantly more graphic. Some sex too I guess but it’s network tv.
If you were on message boards during the 04 offseason every 4th post from you would have been how fucked we were because Mack Brown was bringing back the same offensive staff that had just gotten shut out by OU and how we scapegoated Reese when we hired Chizik
I know our embarrassing 10 win season has most of you thinking about drinking bleach right now, but if that breakdown is correct how is it a sign of incompetent negotiating to you? Seems like a player the staff likes ok, but don’t have a lot of confidence that he would help them win next season and they aren’t going to throw big money at guys with long-term development curves. That’s just how things work now, it’s a year to year proposition and his 2026 production can be replicated at a lower number.
Tell me, what is our long storied history of letting big time prospects walk and missing out our primary targets as replacements? And if your answer is “Wisner” or “Livingston”, don’t bother.
Ha, this is actually a good point that I didn’t consider. If they really wanted to keep the guy, players from Michigan and Florida are going to get a matching offer or close every time.
I know he was hurt and didn’t play the first month of the season, but not sure if he was never actually healthy or if he just isn’t good enough for the step up in competition. His qb and offense certainly didn’t do him any favors. Probably a worthwhile take for some Big12 team in case he comes back healthy and looks like he did two years ago.
I’m pretty surprised there is much debate about it being open to audience interpretation. It seemed pretty clear to me that El being alive was just a story that Mike told the group and they chose to believe because it made for a nicer ending for their friend. For her to be alive, her and her sister would have had to wordlessly lock in that this is the time to execute the super secret plan with a million variables happening around them. The sister has to fake her death to Hop after getting surprised ambushed (because we saw her die on screen), and then stay alive while bleeding out so that she could project the fake image at the perfect moment (even though she wasn’t with them and would have no idea when that was) amongst the commotion of Sara Conner’s army (who she didn’t know would be there). And even if you believe all that, if Mike and the rest of the kids really thought she was still alive, they aren’t going to go looking for her? These people have fought their way through multiple dimensions of space and time, all they do is make plans with maps. They aren’t going to book a trip to Iceland and check out some waterfalls just in case? She ded
I considered the type of person who thinks to themselves “you know what, next year I really should spend MORE time on the message boards” and my whole body shuddered
Feels like that may have been a hint connected to Brauny’s post about Bama. I have to say, that would feel like a pretty strange allocation of their resources given the way their season ended and their needs. Who knows though, it’s silly season in cfb, I’m not going to be shocked by anything anymore.
