Cool, thanks for posting this. I always wondered if they planned for a mirror image building to go up on the empty lot next door, but then an oil bust/real estate collapse happened.
appears no to pregnancy and yes to two warrants. One for allegedly assaulting the apartment complex manager and another for throwing a log through the windshield of a car. Bad decisions like deaths, sometimes come in threes.
Prosecutor: Officer Smith, was it really necessary for you to shoot the the unarmed civilian?
Officer Smith: Yes
Prosecutor: No further questions your honor, the DA concludes this was a legal use of force.
stayed in her hotel a couple of times in Carmel, so this hits close to home.
She was an American icon. The good girl that all the boys (even Rock) wanted.
looks like you have a couple of Mexican places with decent reviews and new steakhouse XIT, and an all you can eat Chinese Buffet.
Plus they have a Sonic which begs for you to go there and recreate the scene from Fandango - "I'll have two chili dogs and a malt"
Sam Houston had not made the NCAA's the two years before Pierce arrived in Huntsville. Tulane had not been to the regional in six season and had just suffered a 23-29 season the year before Pierce arrived. You guys had a losing season the year before he arrived.
Pierce is a good coach with a good resume.

Altuve pressing big time, swinging at stuff all over the place. But also getting beat with fast balls in the zone. I wonder if he needs to have his vision checked. I’ve noticed him doing a bit of squinting this year.

Baffert with strong response to those who filed claims - says "take the loss you pussies"
100% this. I coached every year and was on the LL board. Loved pretty much every minute of it. High school and now college is nice to just stand back with all the other Dad coaches and just watch. Of course all the old coaches still think we can manage a better game than the current coach!
my son's 10 year old year we made it to state and lost in the championship game in Tyler. I was the Manager, and that drive back from Tyler was about the hardest drive I've ever made. I was mentally and physically spent. We followed it up with by winning state his eleven year old year . Team went 13-0 for the summer and it was a blast. The amount of time it takes for the Coaches is amazing - batting practice every morning, field practice every evening. Hours spent figuring out player rotations and pitching rotation due to pitch counts. Also dealing with Team Mom's who want to have a team event every day, and of course dealing with parents who think their kid should get more playing time. Fun fun experience, but exhausting.
We got knocked out in Sectionals our 12 year old year by the eventual state champion. I remember one of the Dad's asked if anyone was up for taking the team to Cooperstown for that tournament. We just all laughed - no chance we were playing another inning.
First if all they need to be the 11/12 year old team. Then they have to win their district, sectional, state, and regional tournaments. Win all four and you go to Williamsport. Realistically you need to win about 17-18 games without ever losing more than one game in any of the tournaments leading up to Williamsport.
also the teams that make it to the World Series are full of kids who all play summer, fall and winter select. They just play LL in the spring (although some play both LL and Select in the Spring - crazy parents).
San Francisco hits all the marks. The big question is do you want to go North to Muir Woods/ Napa/Sonoma/Russian River or South to Carmel/Monterrey/Big Sur. You could do it all but that would be way too much car time.
I would probably go north, because I like the Napa valley and the amazing restaurants you can hit while you are there.
Make sure you time the trip to catch an afternoon Giants game.
Mom was in for Easter, so
The Reluctant Debutante - 1958 - Rex Harrison, Sandra Dee, Kay Kendall (steals the show)
Easter Parade - 1948 - Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Ann Miller, Peter Lawford
Both solid to very solid
