Twitter and the Universal Tennis Ratings favor Florida. Going to be a tough match. Hook 'em!

Yeah...crowd does factor in. Several years ago, Big 12 decided to allow fans to cheer during the point- don't know if that rule is still in effect- Men’s tennis 2019 season.

Harrison makes it 4!- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Yuya ran away with it in the second set. Stood his ground and constantly hit precise passing shots. One more to go!- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Banzer wins for Point 2. Has been really solid at 6 since being swapped in mid season.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Nothing much from what I've heard. The only thing is that Roditi has been retweeting or replying to some of the Texas tennis twitter posts (to be fair, I haven't paid much attention to twitter before so this might be the norm for him)- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Won the dubs point! Second line was also at match point. Makes singles a bit easier. As Berque said in his press conference, Markes should be playing the same guy as last year. If Texas were to advance, they'll face the winner of Mississippi State and TCU. TCU currently up 1-0.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Correct-if they were to advance, team would be going to Lake Nona in Florida (also where the individual tournament will be held) Either way, expect CDC to be there to scout for the new HC- 2019 Texas Softball - Connie's overboard, Anchors Aweigh!
For those that haven't been following the collapse of the Oregon roster- 1 pitcher quit midseason. This left only one scholarship pitcher along with a walk-on. Last week, two starters collided on a fly ball. Both are now out due to concussion symptoms. Today against Utah, another infielder got injured. The result: Some infielders are now pitching and the walk on catcher is now playing outfield (unfortunately also making fielding errors).- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
hmmm...I guess it depends on how you slice it. As I mentioned earlier with how tough the regional was, Texas vs. A&M vs. Rice regional would never have happened in a sport like basketball where priority is given to balancing out the draw. A&M beat Vanderbilt this year (which they'll face in the next round) whereas UNLV did not beat a single tournament team this year until yesterday.- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Actually, I would think UNLV (ranked 76) beating Tech (ranked 26) is the biggest upset.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Four singles wins. Cal just upset Illinois Texas beat Cal last year 4-0 and Cal graduated its top 2 players from last year's team. Ideal draw to the Elite Eight. Need to take advantage.- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Bagels everywhere.... To put in perspective of the disparity- A&M and Rice took over 3 and half hours to play Texas didn't even need half that time- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Rice had three match points Texas wins the dub points. Interesting to see Poluta in instead of the flatter hitting Markovic. Poluta does have steady hands.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Congrats to Coach Berque for stepping into a tough position and claiming Coach of the Year! Wonder how many other interim coaches have ever gotten coach of the year honors. Christian is co-player of the year!- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Post season stuff: -Turatis and Granic make all Big 12s and have berths to the NCAA individual championships. I'm not too sure if Bianca will play though. She has to take advantage of her high ITF ranking (top 20) before her points from last year drop off. -Anna, Petra, and Katie are champions at their lines -Article on Petra: https://www.dailytexanonline.com/2019/05/02/croatian-champion-overcomes-homesickness-to-lead-longhorns -Pretty tough regional for Texas. A&M is the 2nd highest ranked second seed. Rice would have also been a second seed if tennis wasn't so focused on saving money and busing teams to nearby regionals. To that end, I would rate A&M vs. Rice as a toss up.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
I agree that the draw is quite favorable. Two of the three teams to beat us this year (Ohio State and USC), last year's NCAA champs Wake Forest, and perennial powerhouse Virginia (2015-2017 champions) are all on the opposite side of the draw.- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Should also mention Illinois State is in too and Dani Wagland is the grad assistant there- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
LIU Brooklyn, A&M, Rice Almost the same regional as last year haha Oh and Miami (OH) is in. Congrats to alumni Bree Addison who's the Assistant there.- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Tennessee Tech, Alabama, South Florida!- Men’s tennis 2019 season.
Selection day is today! Looks like UT will end up as the number 2 national seed. Will be interesting to see who gets sent to the Austin regional. With A&M, Baylor, and TCU also hosting, there'll be many teams the NCAA will have to fly down to the Lone Star State.- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Central Arkansas will most likely be sent to OK State. Loss to Kansas hurts pretty badly since the NCAA is changing to a new format this year where there'll be a super regional situation for the sweet sixteen. Thus the top 8 seeds get to host until the elite 8. If Texas were to get to the sweet sixteen, most likely to be sent to face UCLA or Vandy- 2019 Texas Women's Tennis
Men's final currently playing indoors. If women go indoors too, bigger advantage to Kansas - Men’s tennis 2019 season.
