What an interesting poll...Texas number one despite getting less first place votes than Washington. Some coaches must have punished UW for not sweeping all the races at the Pac 12s.
You're right

"Originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, the regatta was moved up one day due to thunderstorms forecasted for that morning."
Excited to see how this team does at NCAAs. People on RowingIllustrated are basically saying it's going to be a UT vs. UW shootout (UT has also been closing the gap on the coaches poll this past month)
Peyton and Anna get single bids
Lulu and Kylie get doubles bids
I honestly wonder how many selections will actually want to stay and play the individual tournament
Fair draw for Texas. Vandy might be able to pull off the upset against Ohio State
The R32 match ups of Baylor vs. Duke and Pepperdine vs. Stanford will be interesting
Iowa got hosed unfortunately
Draw will be revealed tomorrow. Texas will be the second seed. Predict that Arkansas will be the second seed of the regional. Guess is based on Arkansas being around the right rank (top 30) and that the NCAA will have to split the SEC conference (11 or 12 bids) between the regionals evenly.
Wonder if the NCAA will go ahead and send A&M over to Baylor. Would be unfair since that wound a nationally top 10 match up in the second round. Either way whoever gets A&M in their regional is going to be pretty unhappy.
Rice and A&M Corpus Christi likely to be sent between Baylor and Texas.
SMU likely to be one of the first teams out.
UNC's roster is packed, extremely. They have basically three super seniors and haven't lost a dual match since 2019.
Saw a tweet that summed up what they've done this past few years
The good news is that Texas lost a nail bitter to them earlier this year indoors. UNC also has not made an NCAA final yet with this illustrious class. I'd rate Texas as having a 20-30% chance of beating UNC. Things that have to happen are Peyton needs to get hot during NCAAs and Joffe has to decide between Labrana and Rapolu at 6.
Won lines 3-6. Playing against Baylor tomorrow. Baylor's lineup is pretty interesting. Their number one player Krywoj has only played doubles this tournament. Kraus who played in the three matches against UT has also not played recently.
Hmmm...I wouldn't agree quite yet. Yuya and Christian were a great 1-2 punch that this team doesn't have. Would have to see a fully healthy Siem to better evaluate. Also the record at number 6 this year is not good. Too many 4-3 matches for my liking.
I don't think there's been anything officially said or in social media from Lexi. Most of the glee from the Horns fans today are more in response to the Internet trolls and some Nebraska fans who repeatedly said things like "We just want Lexi to be happy" four years ago.
Texas on the short list to host

Honestly I think UT has overachieved this year so far. Winning the regular season conference with basically no super seniors (or regular seniors for that matter) in a stacked conference is a big achievement.
Something interesting they're doing this year is that they announced 20 potential sites today for the NCAAs. Four will get cut.
List is here:

What I find interesting is that this list must have been done with previous week's rankings as teams like LSU and Tennessee are on this list even though A&M is top 16 (was on the outside couple of weeks ago) and has wins over both LSU and Tennessee. This probably means A&M will get sent to Baylor as the second seed. UT and Baylor will probably split Rice and SMU (as long as they're rankings hold up).
Had to look back- So 2016 was when the Texas women finished in 5 way tie for second. Seeds were announced on April 24, 2016 (https://big12sports.com/news/2016/4/24/210910129.aspx) which was a Sunday
So who knows.....
I think they're using next week's ITA rankings. If that's the case, Texas is at 2, Baylor is at 3, and TCU is at around 6. Texas would be the number 1 seed.
