you see doc.....I was bringing in the groceries from HEB, and it must have already started icing up.... cause next think ya know, I'm ass over teakettle and I uh.... must have landed on my carrots.
Underrated, lulz? what did fatty do with those juggernaut teams he assembled in Dallas? How many trips to the Superbowl? How about the conference championships? 2021: Wild card round, lost at home as favorite vs 49ers (10-7). 2022: Wild card round, won on road as favorite vs Bucs (8-9). Division round, lost as underdog on road to 49ers (12-5). 2023: Wild card round, lost at home as favorite vs Packers (9-8). In GB, the dude had 4X NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers for 11 seasons in the prime of his career and won one superbowl and had one other appearance in a conference championship game. I find it a strange hire for a Steeler's squad that prides itself on the longevity of its HC hires. My guess is he's gone within 4 seasons, if his morbid obesity doesn't claim him first.
Who could have guessed that a coach with a career .444 conference winning percentage in the missouri valley, sun belt, and horizon conferences would struggle in the two best basketball conferences in the country. He was somehow a worse hire than RT, but even with his elite 8 run we only kept RT around for 3 years. gonna miss having this guy in the league
These aliens walked right up to me as I was waiting for Ted Cruz to finish sucking my dick, and with tears in their eyes, they said "sir, you really did deserve the nobel peace prize. we've travelled to the furthest extremes of the universe and wow, we've never seen such peace." A lot of people are saying I'm a shoe-in to become the first two-time winner of the FIFA peace prize. I'm not saying that, but who else has ended 36 wars?
Well, modern sportsbooks are really just in the business of strategic risk assessment/management, aided by massive historical databases and complex modeling. They are completely fine with an unbalanced line if their models show that they have the longterm profitable side of the bet. They don't necessarily really give a shit about the public money as they have a large advantage over the general public, but they will react more to the known sharp bettors. So I guess what I should have more accurately said, is "the sharps are going to have to realize how shitty MU is, and force the books to move the lines accordingly"
When I lived in San Francisco, we had a hot neighbor chick who bought a manual BMW ("it was a good deal") but had no clue how to drive a stick. Thats not exactly a beginner city and we lived in an area with hills and tight street parking. For the first couple of weeks, either I or one of my roommates had to park the damn thing for her in the evening, because parallel parking was a challenge for her, and spots on a slope were an impossibility for her. She got the hang of it eventually but her bumpers showed the learning curve.
Nick Saban coached four Heisman Trophy winners at Alabama: Mark Ingram (2009), Derrick Henry (2015), DeVonta Smith (2020), and Bryce Young (2021). The math doesn't math, but then the idea that a Heisman is worth a $1B is laughable on its own. Whatever the Heisman used to be worth 40 years ago, in constant dollars its probably worth about 25%. Its basically a "best QB award" now and nobody I know gives a fuck about it any longer.
