I have been to India numerous times. I refuse to drive over there as basic driving rules/understanding do not apply.
I had a driver over there once that made me rather surly. I told him that if we were in a wreck that I was coming out of the car swinging and that the first person that I was going to hit was him. He got the message after a couple of firm swats on the shoulder and leg when he started doing stupid driving.
I was fairly fast as a youngster. Played centerfield and had the opportunity to play college baseball. The last time that I raced my son was when he was about this age. I was in my early 40’s. He smoked me.
He ended up being a sprinter in high school running the 100, 200, and being the anchor leg on the sprint relays. I felt a lot better about my loss eventually.
It is a dick move to keep driving in the LH lane. For them to hurry up and make their pass is not asking too much of them. It is not like asking them to drive super fast the whole time. Maybe a quarter of a mile just to get around the vehicle that they are plodding by. It is probably the same drivers that slowly pass an 18-wheeler as well. I notice that a lot of people actually drive slower next to an 18-wheeler and then speed up once they are around them. Hurry up and pass.
When my daughter (no pics) was a young driver she was driving in the left hand lane without having to pass anyone. A State Trooper pulls up next to her and motions for her to get over into the RH lane. LH lane is for passing. She learned her lesson.
She is the only female that I allow to drive me around when I go visit them out of town.
Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
I am taxiing to the gate in ATL. Lady behind me has her speakerphone on talking to some other lady. No one cares to hear your stupid conversation. Having to hear half of it is bad enough!
Assuming that these are all in Yellowstone or the Tetons. Are you having to get off of the beaten path for these shots or are you able to see them from just driving around? Incredible is an understatement!
I like Arby’s when I eat there. However I rarely eat at one since there is not one on my usual driving path nor close to my house. I do eat at the one in the ATL airport if I am in a hurry.
One of our facilities is on an older part of town (use your own judgment). Some of our temporary offices were in a building above a bank. There was a man that would ride his mower to the bank every day for a free cup of coffee.
