And John Facenda....
My daughter’s experience on campus was the same as mine. She entered in 2010 for the end of Browns run and into Strong’s experiment.

And John Facenda....
We just missed being on the 40 Acres at the same time. I was a senior in HS in 83. Freshman year was in 1984 at UT. My college roommate and I both graduated from UT in December 1988. We were accused of staying an extra semester just to get another football season in.

My first Texas game was UT vs Rice in 83 when Simmons ripped one off. I was sitting in the upper deck.

Trivial Things That Make You Surly
Sorry, but I would have to take the butt whipping for Team Surly from Huff because I still think the term is stupid.

Band of Brothers. There are multiple times it gets dusty for me. One in particular is when Spears runs through the village that is occupied by the Nazis. As he is running to deliver a message the Nazis look on in disbelief and then start shooting at him. On his return trip the camera angle picks him up running towards you with the battle going on with smoke and flames. An incredible scene. And a total badass move by a badass soldier. Pretty much any scene that shows soldiers going off to war or some patriotic scene. As @AUS-97HORN stated the ending of Saving Private Ryan with Ryan crying at Miller's grave. Like @Chico_SA, the "give'em hell" scene in Glory. The singing of "La Marseillaise" in Casablanca that @Bama Llama stated. Another scene that gets me in the feels every time is in Good Morning Viet Nam when Cronauer is talking to the soldiers from his jeep, while the convoy that the soldiers are in headed to the front, get stuck in a traffic jam. When the traffic jam is finally cleared and on the convoy gets underway again with the soldiers cheering to Cronauer gets to me. Heck, even some of the propaganda type movies (usually musical genre) from the 1940's get to me.- Trivial Things That Make You Surly
These that are directly behind you in the middle of the tank or on the wall right behind you are a pain to give a courtesy flush while sitting.- Abbott signs NIL bill
OK, SIAP as I have not followed this at all. But now that this is a thing, how distracting is it going to be for the players? It just seems like, at least initially, that many are out trying to leverage the situation already. Do they "hire" someone to do this in its entirety, or is there some "organization" that they can work through independently? So many questions. Is there a Reader's Digest review of all of this here on Surly? Too lazy to sort through the topics.- DeMarvion Overshown: An Amazing Person On and Off The Field
I hope that he does it ETX style and doesn't get pressured to go a different route.- Trivial Things That Make You Surly
Are you covertly saying that your daughter is aggy?- Trivial Things That Make You Surly
Also hate Walmart and other stores that store their carts on grouted tile or other "non-smooth" surfaces. It is hard to tell if you get a wonky cart until you are in the store on the smooth surfaces. Often times I have to turn around and go source a different cart that has decent wheels.- Getting old sucks

My GF is a Physical Therapist with 25 years or so of experience. She says to do it now and get a full replacement and not a partial. Do your homework on the doctor and make sure he is top notch. Some doctors only do partials with just the inside part of the knee jacked up. Don’t do that. Go full on.- Texas AD Chris Del Conte
I don’t Tweet but I assume some moron asked about alternative uniforms again. A PSA should go out on all media types so that folks will get the message. You don’t mess with Texas’ colors.- The "Post a Picture You Took" thread
Ummmm, the point is over there-----> Would love to live where he lives (previous post was for exaggerated jealousy)- The Andy Griffith Show
I had not considered the colored versions. I get 2 or 3 channels that show the AGS and they rarely play the colored versions.- The "Post a Picture You Took" thread
Ok, you should be limited to how many images and the frequency that you can post pics on here entirely based upon where you live!!! Jealousy is an understatement.- The Andy Griffith Show
Yes, this is a great episode. So folksy. Is there a bad episode?- Longmire
I had a similar thought a year or so ago while going through the series. I have been to Wyoming countless times including going to Buffalo, WY which is, I believe, the town setting. Buffalo may have 5000 to 6000 residents at best. If the state was as violent as this series makes it out to be I would be concerned to vacation there!- Father's Day 2021

Smokey Mountain NP is really nice. My daughter lives in North Carolina so I usually stop either on my way up or back in the Park to spend a couple of days hiking. Some fantastic views.- Pics of parking douche baggery
This type of douche baggery parking ticks me off more so than any other type. Bunch of lazy folks out there that are afraid of a few extra steps.- St. Louis Man Killed Because of Grass Clippings
