  1. Mack Brown special. Went prevent and gave up a ton of easy stuff thinking the game was in hand. Recall that this man was a mentor to Tom Herman and all will make sense.
  2. [Texags]I heard from a buddy who's friends aunt worked on the queen's medical staff that her final words were "I trust jimbo. He's got the fightin aggy spirit to get this turned around if they just give him the time."[/Texags]
  3. This is why I think the loss of Elko will sting more than they seem to realize. They beat Colorado 10-7 last year, on a td in the last 3 minutes of the game. If CO ever scored one more td in that game, I think not only would they have won but the game might have gotten out of hand. Elko keeping games within one score let Jimbo keep playing his conservative game without really having to ask his offense to go win the game for them. Case and point, Ole Miss went up 9 pts with 6 minutes left in the 4th. Next drive, Calzada threw a pick 6 to put Ole Miss up by 16, and the game was over. Jimbo does not want to get behind by two scores and have to rely on an aggressive offense to win games. Elko bailed him out quite a few times by keeping games manageable. Maybe they've stockpiled enough talent on D that they won't drop off much, but it will be interesting to watch.
  4. His writing is objectively terrible. Hey lucci, since we all know you read these boards, do you write this way because you really don't know how to write, or do you just know your audience caps out at 2nd grade reading comprehension and write like this so they don't get lost?
  5. From Ketch: Yeah, bud, I don't think anyone was too worried about you doing much running.
  6. When asked what made him feel most at home in college station, Bisontis replied "me like they no make big word talk at my ear hole."
  7. Just think, there had to be other pictures from that shoot, and yet they picked this as the best of the bunch.
  8. aggy wet dream: Hey tu, I'm here for your NILs...
  9. That was strong, but I really thought they led with their best material. "Was he in a hurry to get to Bible study" was a great line.
  10. "Jimbo, how are you feeling about recruiting this year?" "How'm I feeling??? I'm feeling great. I woke up this morning knowing I'm getting paid 27 THOUSAND dollars today, regardless of what happens, and anyone who doesn't like how it's going and wants to do something about it is going to need around $85 MILLION to show me the door. So yeah, I'm feeling about as good as my ex-wife's tennis instructor right now. Next question."
  11. Look at this guy throwing stones like he's some kind of hotshot just brimming with money, cars, and a closet full of only freshly pressed tailored clothes... Oh wait. Shit.
  12. I wasn't saying that the situations were comparable. Only that your conclusion requires making some real logical leaps based on a few facts, as does mine. You may or may not be right, but it's hardly a given outcome.
  13. That KKL post reads like one of us hacked her account to troll their board. Holy shit. I'm not sure any of us could top that classic aggy delusional rambling if we tried.
  14. Just logically working it out, Bill Gates should give me $5 million. Bill Gates net worth is around $100 billion, but that's just too much to need, so logically speaking he's probably looking to offload some of that and there's only so much he can really invest in malaria and the like. He could give it to his family or friends, but they're all already rich, so that doesn't make logical sense. It makes the most sense, logically speaking, for him to give the $5 million to me, since I'm not already rich and he needs to get rid of it. I have informed him of my conclusion and now await my check.
  15. Not SEC ready.
  16. You've clearly never visited sorority row in CS.
  17. Ok, but how do you know the sip librul media didn't just change that graphic after making sure aggy scheduled visits? Checkmate.
  18. I know this isn't the recruiting thread but it deserves to be recognized here (and on aggypedia) as one of the most aggy things ever. If you don't follow recruiting, a recruits "official visit" to a school is one of the most important parts of a recruitment. aggy scheduled several high priority target official visits for the end of July. The problem is, the NCAA forbids official visits in July. This is not new, it has been the case since at least October of last year, and possibly longer. Not only did the entire aggy recruiting staff miss that they were scheduling high priority target visits during a restricted period, they just figured that out...today. They're now scrambling to adjust and predictably blaming everyone imaginable (NCAA, Saban, tu, etc) for some grand conspiracy to hurt their recruiting instead of acknowledging that their staff made a huge fucking oversight. Never change, aggy.
  19. Didn't Mario Williams and Caleb Williams both follow this exact playbook? Entered the portal assumed to be USC recruited. Gave other programs a "serious look" before finally settling on the most obvious choice. This is why I can't get my hopes up. It's too dejavu. In fairness, this is what I assumed Mathis was doing with Nebraska to avoid any Gary P tampering accusations, so look at what I know.
  20. I'm kinda floored they're as pissed about this as they are. Based on the texags screenshots above, I thought Bobby ran an in depth hit piece outlining exactly what they were doing and how it worked. Then someone posted the "article" and it's a handful of sentences stating what everyone has known and many others have said directly or heavily implied for months. Does aggy not understand that this is all common knowledge at this point and Bobby's article changes nothing about public perception of their class? Maybe they just need a burnt orange villain to blame, as always.
  21. Excuse me, sir, but did you not see that he completed Subway Academy?
  22. I more generally meant that I can always identify with bitching about millennials.
  23. Wait, I thought the "operation" was exactly on schedule and going according to plan. If that's true, what is there to bitch about? Well, even a deranged dictator is right every now and then.
