  1. Considering we could've used quite a few of those "dudes" who might have hit the portal, Ketch, no I don't think it is a very good fucking thing.
  2. I know that no one is implying we'll get him, but I'm not too high on our odds of landing a defensive guy Georgia recruited into the portal when fucking Nebraska just landed the guy we recruited into the portal.
  3. Joke's on you, dumb westerner, because their flagship now IS a sub.
  4. You don't know many real life aggy, do you?
  5. Ok, that first pic is honestly wtf, but in the better pics you actually can see more of a human resemblance, even if it's only sightly:
  6. Doesn't Washington get hyped a bit every preseason? I'll believe it when he starts producing in games, something Neyor has done. Even if Washington is clearly outperforming in practice, we'd sure as hell better put Neyor in some game situations just to see. Wasn't Lil'Jordan Humphrey a notoriously average practice player? Some guys just produce when the pressure is on, and some do not.
  7. I'm certain Ukraine hit it with that missile, but if it actually was a self inflicted fire, could you say that Russian warship really did go fuck itself?
  8. If the goal post had been centered with the tunnel, he probably would have.
  9. Reporter: "Jimbo, what's your take on how the recruiting landscape is changing this year? Fisher: "Sometimes, in recruiting, you think you have someone's word...their vow, if you will, that they're going to stick with you. Next thing you know, that recruit is spending a bit too much time with a certain tennis instructor......you ask, they deny......and that's when the whisky starts flowing free for ole Jimbo... Wait, I'm sorry, where was I......can you repeat the question?"
  10. It's really funny that only two days after it was surfaced here, that site was taken down. That tells me he definitely saw this thread bump, and they likely got their gift messages from the board as well. Well done here.
  11. Every time his personal info gets put on blast here, I'm quite certain his racist ass has flashbacks to pwc and the great Twitter investigation from which his public shaming began. Just imagining him seeing this thread bumped and feeling his stomach turn a little each time wondering what will happen next is absolutely worth the occasional interruption to our football programming. That fucker earned and continues to earn every bit of anxiety he feels when this thread is bumped. His racist trolling cost him an internship, a potential job, possibly an entire career path, and forced him to change his name, yet he continues doing much of the same shit today. Fuck that guy.
  12. If I started selling bags of shit for $2 twenty years ago, and people were still buying my bags of shit for $2 today, no way in hell would I raise prices. Eventually someone might look at the price and realize they're paying me for bags of shit.
  13. When I was young I remember asking my parents why it took so long for the world to unite and stop Hitler. I remember an answer along the lines that it wasn't completely clear early on exactly what the Nazis were doing, and then even when it was, that countries will try for as long as possible to avoid engaging in these kinds of wars. Hitler just left no choice. I've been thinking about that a lot this week, and for the first time in my life I understand it. I can't fathom us allowing Russia to siege Kyiv or overtake the city by bombing civilians, but then I think about the impact even a single nuke hitting US soil would have on our country and must importantly to me the future of my kids lives. Yes, it's a selfish perspective, but honestly that's the trade off you have to weigh. It feels impossible to let this happen and do nothing when we could stop it, but the outcome of doing something could be far worse for everyone, even Ukraine. What's scary is that the world is proving to Putin right now that we're all paralyzed that he might be the madman to pull the trigger. It concerns me that this might embolden him if nothing else is done, and he might decide to see what else he can get away with before anyone would actually get involved. Someone needs to take that asshole out, and soon.
  14. I remember being pissed in principle that we were paying his salary to coach there, but in hindsight I think we got the better end of the deal. They had to have him as a coach, after all.
  15. aggy explaining the strategy that led to their historic recruiting haul reminds me of Nick Newport Jr explaining how they make their healthy kids snacks taste so good.
  16. I think their pride was getting hurt. They just signed the biggest class of all time, but the headlines are all about how much they're paying for it. I guarantee you the guys involved in financing all of this have been getting pissed that not only is their financing operation getting a lot of public attention, but also that the national press isn't saying "a&m now belongs with the big boys if college football" like they'd hoped, instead they're saying "a&m has no business with the big boys of college football, so them landing this class proves they're cheating." They're not being celebrated, they're being laughed at. So of course Jimbo throws a temper tantrum on national tv and now their cheating is getting even more attention bc he denied it all in the least credible way possible. The other issue that might have motivated him is the response they're getting from future recruiting targets. The word is clearly out there how much they offered top targets in the 22 "draft." If you're a 23/24/25 recruit, what are your expectations? All of the publicity this has gotten has given them a real problem for future classes unless they intend to sustain or increase what they're willing to pay. Whether they like it or not, they just set market expectations with this class.
  17. Losing to Kansas was embarrassing. Landing the 5th ranked class after that disaster of a season doesn't feel too embarrassing at all, no matter how much aggy spent to get #1.
  18. I fucking love him saying there's no $50 million fund. Well, not anymore there's not. You spent it all. (I know that number is probably grossly exaggerated, but it's still funny watching them squirm)
