  1. I blame Kim Delaney.
  2. Yeah, I can give you most of the '55 Dodgers starting lineup. And I never get my Pee Wee's mixed up. That WHOOSH that some people heard . . . Just sayin' some people, you understand . . .
  3. Yeah, I always liked PeeWee too, even after that jerking off in a porno theatre in Florida thing. And then there's Marv Albert and his biting the bitch in the butt thing. Hmmm, I'm sensing a pattern here. Wonder what that cocksucker Stephen A. Smith's thing is? Whatever it is, I bet it's loud, obnoxious, and over the top. Sportscasters, gee, I don't know . . .
  4. What the fuck is reasoned logic doing on this board?
  5. The camera was panning the stands and Ole Diz saw a young couple in the centerfield bleachers and actually uttered these now-famous words on the air: "Lookie there, Pee Wee; those young folks are smoochin' after every pitch. He's kissin' her on the strikes, and she's kissin' him on the balls." True story. My favorite Dizzy Dean story came when he was put in as a pinch runner on first in the '34 World Series. He elected not to slide on a double-play ball and the throw from second caught him square in the forehead. Knocked him cold. They took him to the hospital and the next day headlines in the Detroit Free Press said, "X-RAYS OF DEAN'S HEAD SHOW NOTHING." Another true story.
  6. Check Kern Tips out on one of the greatest outpourings of aggy tears of all time: (BTW: I played against that idiot Brotherton. It didn't surprise me when, after the interception, he tried to lateral when all he had to do was just fall on the ball. He kicked my ass, all right, but I got the last laugh a couple of years later when this happened:)
  7. "Southwest Conference Highlights," presented by the Humble Oil & Refining Company. . .
  8. I'm shocked--SHOCKED to find that gambling is going on in here.
  9. "They were readin' his mail." "Four fresh downs and ten fresh yards." Anybody remember L. G. Dupree? Tips always said the L. G. stood for "Long Gone."
  10. I remember when Joe's dad, Frank was doing one of the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day games, back in the day. Setting up the commercial break (for Swift Butterball turkeys, of course), Buck said, "And now a bird from our sponsor." True story.
  11. Tony! Tony Rocky Horror, izzat you?
  12. Millions, like the other senators.
  13. Are you forgetting Animal Husbandry? (In every sense of the word?)
  14. Wonder if this will result in less oversight by and accountability to the NCAA? Not that that would matter much--when's the last time the toothless, limp-dick NCAA did anything of significance to anybody of substance? Penn State? Baylor? blOw-U? Anybody in the secsecsec?
  15. Every board has a few of these. Makes the Ingore option invaluable.
  16. Are canes and walkers considered fashion accessories?
  17. Wooosh!
  18. Yeah, like we needed the comma in "jersey's."
  19. God, I love a good grammar Nazi. I think it was Patton who said, "I love it. God help me, I do love it so." Most think he was referring to war itself; actually, it was grammar nazis.
  20. Clifton Chenier and Ponty Bone have left the building (regrets) but Flaco Jiménez is still with us. He's 80 but still cooks.
  21. I wouldn't wish a ruptured Achilles tendon on anybody . . . (yes I would.)
  22. Ah, the offseason has officially started: TexLong has thrown out the first calumny. (Actually, it may have been a tie.)
  23. I've heard it many times. Always wondered what it was. You know, like the aggy returning the "defective" chain saw said, "What's that noise?"
  24. This "whoosh" of which you speak--perchance, could it be the sound the point makes when sailing over one's head?
