Yep. Even the Spurs who have three primary ball-handlers, are worse when one of them is out... worse than that when two of them are out... and (not sure if all three have sat any games) would be functionally broken without any of them. Which is why it's baffling that Houston just kicked the can down the road instead of acquiring even an average ball-handler/floor-general. You could get away with it if KD was 32, or if Amen was 27, but that's not the reality right now.
You can't just put Harden on the team. He makes $40M. FVV doesn't have the trade value that Garland does. Amen and Sengun are non-starters. You'd have to trade JSJ plus picks or someone like Eason. Or Reed maybe. Is that worth it for Harden? There are plenty of guards that don't make $40M. Why Houston didn't add any of them I have no idea. Completely throwing this season away doesn't make any sense.
I'm not sure dumpster fire is even fair to dumpster fires at this point. They're more like a nuclear reactor that's currently melting down and spewing radiation everywhere.
Besides the super cool guys that apparently wouldn't attend either because they're so cool and only watch real sports - G7 WS is the only serious answer.
Honestly cold as fuck. He's the best team USA player of all-time. Kevin Durant Reveals Which Jersey He'd Want to Wear for H...If Kevin Durant has things his way, his eventual plaque at the Basketball Hall of Fame won't have him wearing an NBA jersey.
This thread is so fucking embarassing. Especially after he made major staff changes and cleaned up in the portal. You're allowed to have a down year when you have a QB with basically zero starting experience and as many underclassmen on the starting 22 as almost any team in the country. And Texas still wound up about as good as any SEC team metrics-wise in that "down year". Texas was better than OU and aggy. We proved it on the fucking field. OU lost to a shitty Alabama team at home and aggy almost got shut-out at home by Miami. Put it on the wall I guess. Let me know when they are legitimate NC contenders the way the Horns were in '23 and '24. Who do you idiots even want? Dan Lanning? Lane Kiffin? Cristobal? Kirby and Day aren't going anywhere. Cignetti is a generational find that IU got lucky with. Texas is going to fuck this season. Quit being a bunch of bitches.
Bird played 3 years in college though. I also don't really get the Bird comps. I mean I get them because they're both white but Cooper is a much rawer athlete and attacks the basket a lot more directly. There isn't really a perfect comp for him - his floater game is unlike anything I've ever seen. He has a lot of fire to him. He isn't as crafty or cool as Bird. He isn't quite the athlete or playmaker that LeBron was but he's a better shooter. He's a better three-level scorer than Grant Hill. You know who he has a lot of is TMac...
