We don't have enough scorers to leave our best off the court for long spans of time.

That's why Jones needs to play.

College basketball isn't really a smooth and efficient deal. Fans need to lower their expectations. Good and successful teams more often than not just grind wins out.

In fairness to those of us who haven't been fans of Askew he's never demonstrated a willingness to even shoot much less look at the basket prior to today.

Brock's form seems to have improved and he didn't hesitate at all on that 3.

Carr's not a good enough shooter and lack of spacing in our offense does him no favors for his dribble drive game. He's sort of a poor fit for what Beard wants to do. If Ramey had Carr's handle and savvy he'd be perfect for Beard.

I agree on Ramey, not so much on Askew but I understand why people prefer his mistake free play. Ramey gets way too much flack from our fanbase. Dude is athletically limited, but he plays with a determination unmatched by any other guard on the roster.

Oh you mean college level players didn't score every time they went down the court. Holy shit we stuck.

Ramey is on the sideline checking in and gets fired up after Askew's 3 to tell the bench to get the fuck up and get hype. This dude gets way too much flack for the amount of heart he consistently displays.

Casey Thompson
Ewers was sort of a big deal so I’m not sure why players recruiting him is a big indication of anything. He’s literally the highest rated QB prospect of the last 20 years. He also happened to grow up in the same state of which they attend the flagship school. Not to mention most of the guys recruiting him spent the previous 4 years attending camps with him. Casey could’ve won the fucking heisman and they’d still be actively recruiting Ewers and nobody would've thought twice about it.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown Rips Off Uniform and Walks Off Field Mid Game
And that's an understatement. Every former player I've seen from Domonique Foxworth, to Ryan Clark, to anyone you can name has been done with him. And as far as people defending him. I wouldn't describe what people are doing as anyone taking his side. Some people are more or less quibbling with the initial story put out by Arians/Bucs which probably wasn't the complete truth. Regardless of this small contention over specifics, the overwhelming majority of people are done with AB nonetheless.

Bucs WR Antonio Brown Rips Off Uniform and Walks Off Field Mid Game
He lost $30M guaranteed from the Raiders, another $12M guaranteed from the Patriots, and potentially another $1M with the Bucs. He's kinda sucks at "getting away with" bullshit.

Arians was the OC in Pittsburgh for awhile, but I'm not sure if he crossed paths with AB during his tenure there.

I believe Cooper gets a 90 day reprieve from testing due to having Covid. I forget whether or not Lamb already had before.

Sarunas Marciulionis is actually credit for it even though there is footage of Dr. J, Elgin Baylor, and other guys doing it as far back as the 60s.- Dallas Cowboys 2021 Regular Season Thread -- Money, Masks, & Masochism

Has recruiting ever been this concentrated amongst just a few schools? I don't follow it as closely as I did in the 00s, but I don't remember a time when 3 or 4 schools routinely locked up such a high % of the top 100. Bama, Georgia, & Ohio St dominate recruiting like no other period of time before. They get 3 or 4 five star players seemingly every year. Then throw in another 15 years of SEC propaganda and lesser teams like Kentucky tend to recruit way above their historical weight which hurts schools like Michigan and Michigan St that recruit Ohio kids who dont go to Ohio St.- 2022 Texas Coaching/Support Staff Thread
I remember Anthony Johnson but had no clue we ever had a Charlie Williams as a WR coach. I would've lost money on that trivia question. - If BaD Radio isn't on from 3-7 p.m. ...
