  1. No shit. Why put in all the work and heartache if you won’t do things like this for yourself when it pays off / pays out? Well done and congrats.
  2. Head should always be kept on a swivel while on patrol?? Doesn't sound like much of a perimeter.
  3. And tell us how you canned the meat please?
  4. Yep, they've been "tripping" them in the street and letting them flail around as a deterrent to other rioters for years. I'd imagine IDF also has enough covert kills on leadership targets over the years using those integrally suppressed 10/22's to fill a small town phonebook.
  5. That’ll be the plot in the sequel to Hell Fighters. Can’t wait to see how Red Adair would have solved this one.
  6. Can't speak to the open marriage or class of jet but I think you're covered on the water. Met a guy who worked on boats for the Holt's a few years back. They're well boated.

It may solve the funding crisis we have with regard to Social Security. These folks aren't going to live long enough to drain the funding. On the flip side, any savings would be offset by increased Medicare and Medicaid costs. Regardless, it'll become more and more apparent in mortality rates and life expectancy in the U.S. Ever see a morbidly obese octogenarian or older? They aren't there. There are a lot of 60 year olds who look and act 80-90, but they aren't.

SG AMMO is under $.40 (delivered) for 1000 of Blazer brass 115gr fmj 9mm. Been a while since we've seen that, especially for brass and not steel case like the Tula.
  9. Glad to see the bump. Had a good laugh last night. Came home and there was a bottle on the counter. Not unusual as my wife is a normie who enjoys Prosecco and cocktails. I looked at it and it said Zero Proof Ritual Tequila Alternative. When she walked by I asked "What in the hell is this?" She went on and on about how she'd been craving Mexican Mules and Ranch Water since it was hot, but didn't want the calories so she bought this "alternative". Said it was great, probably wouldn't buy real tequila going forward, bla, bla, bla, bla. Want to know how I KNOW I'm an alcoholic and she's not???????? Dumbest shit I've ever heard of......makes perfect sense to her.
  10. Shocking (not really), but poison arrows (not darts) were / are a thing in Mississippi deer hunting. At least until recently (may still be) while it was illegal to buy the paralyzing drug in MS, it was not illegal to buy in Alabama and hunt with in MS. They called them "pods". Rationale.....you be the judge.........., is that the paralysis of the respiratory system speeds up eventual death, reducing suffering. Law may have changed, but 10-15 years ago it was pretty common for bowhunters to use Anectine up there.
  11. Well, this is certainly an explanation for all of the ERCOT trouble. The bird-drones are sucking the juice out of the transmission lines through the inductive charging coils. Makes sense to me.
  12. Several years ago I bought some Sig 226 .40 trade-ins and a stash of magazines. Police trade-ins are a great value normally if your looking for a utility pistol. Most are like new if not legitimately brand new / never issued.
  13. I’ve got one who’s smart enough that he’s learned to climb down into a cottonseed pen, and sleep there on the soft seed, protected by the chicken wire. Climbs out to eat and back in to sleep- over and over every nights.
  14. That (bolded) isn't necessarily untrue. However, as was stated above, the .40 becoming obsolete is utter nonsense. Hell, manufacturers still made the 10mm after all these years, only to see it come back into relative popularity. The .40 isn't going anywhere even if no one made a single new gun chambered for it. There is an enormous population of existing .40's that need to be fed. That kid was working in the shoe department last month. Buy what fits and you shoot well.
  15. Agreed. My experience was having the airline say - "show me where it says your name and show me where it says negative." I pulled up an email test result on my phone and scrolled to those two spots . They cared nothing about seeing the date, the testing facility, or anything specific. Name....Negative....enjoy your flight. Regardless how you feel about the regulation, it's difficult to blame the airlines for waving people through. Those ticketing agents can't be expected to turn into medical professionals and if they did carefully examine every passenger's document for full compliance, it would take hours to move a line for even one full flight checking in.
  16. Testing done at resorts for return flights to US have become a joke. They don't want positive tests showing up at their site, know most traveling US citizens are vaccinated anyway, and are just going through the motions to give a test to get tourists their paperwork to let them board US bound flights. Last test I had they barely touched my nose, and it was the same for my friends. Waved the swab close to the nose and printed a negative test. Cursory box-checking at this point. I started laughing and the nurse gave me a STFU look and waved me out.
  17. Can you elaborate on this more please…. In layman’s terms?
  18. How would those Braniff ultrasuede uniforms fare today when a plane sits on the tarmac at DFW for 4 hours in August? FA's would be shedding uniforms mid-aisle.

Yeah - news reports I've seen are a bit dramatic - Calling it a convoy of trucks. I guess two box trucks could be considered a convoy if they are hauling Coors or ammo, as that's all you'd need for that much .22. In reality, I'd love to have seen the look on the cartel boss's face when his boys rolled in with what he thought might be 7MM of 5.56 and it turned out to be 99% squirrel pills.

Anyone who had pirates or ambush on their ammo crisis bingo card is a winner today. Appears that a bunch of mostly .22lr manufactured in Mexico was stolen while on its way to the US border. 7 million rounds - being reported that +95% was .22........ and I'm sure that's not what the bandits hoped for but that's the last thing the ammo industry needs.
  22. Mexico Rocks, Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley.
  23. I watch the non-Gunbroker auction sites with a pretty thorough eye, and you could see this coming a mile away. I'd have agreed with you a 18 months ago, but in the last several months, the prices on carbines have gotten pretty elevated. Once the buyers premium and shipping is paid, it's been damn near impossible to buy one that doesn't have a comma in the final net cost. The Garand demand has filtered down into the carbines and since the CMP has no more carbines, the prices have risen dramatically. Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.
  24. I've got one camera that's been overtaken by a wildflower of some kind. Sucker has grown 2 feet in the last month. Now it's blocking the camera and taking a flower-selfie every time the wind blows. It beats the alternative of nothing but crispy, burned grass, but it is annoying.
  25. Can't really answer that as I already had TSA pre and GE when I did Clear and I don't recall any discussion about that one way or the other. I don't know if TSA pre or GE expedites Clear sign-up or not.
