  1. Pretty much everyone worth a shit on the OKC roster is listed on their injury report. Are they gonna make a big move and go get Giannis...? Moves the Cavs below the 2nd apron. Might be a play to get Giannis with Mobley out tonight..
  2. Supposedly the Kings are looking to buy out DeRozan. He would be a nice, cheap pickup if he's interested in playing here. He's great at creating offense, has a ton of experience, and he can play the 2. Might be the best option if the buyout happens.
  3. So AD and Trae pair up in Washington in hopes of making that team an annual playoff participant. Good for them I guess. The picks are kinda crappy, so it looks decent for the Mavs, but it's mostly a salary dump. Middleton, Bagley and Branham are expiring and AJ is a decent young player on a rookie deal. Don't know what Dallas plans to do with that cap space, but it's certainly better to have than the jalopy that is AD. Washington just has to hope that they can fix AD and make him and Trae work together. They got 2 all-stars now, which might be a first for the Wiz since... Arenas and Wall were there? It's been a while. I think it makes sense for both teams, but the peak potential is very mild given how unreliable AD is.
  4. The Cavs are officially in "Win... how?" mode.
  5. Can't use the DPE for anything because it doesn't work like a normal exception that is allowed to go above and beyond the cap. It's like free cap space, but you can only use it up to your hard cap, which for the Rockets right now is about 1.25m. It's so fucking dumb, because they don't even get to take the money out of their cap space/tax figures before using the DPE. The new CBA really needs to change that.
  6. Lower salary, and saves about 50 million in luxury tax this year. Under second apron next year too. I think Ellis is an RFA this off-season, so that also gives them some options next year.
  7. I would bet $20 there is one buried within 50 feet of Ivana's grave at Bedminster. He loves reusing the same shitty ideas.
  8. In case anyone needs help rooting for the Seahawks next week...
  9. Lies. He has played 21 games and pretty much same averages as what he did here except his 3pt shooting, which was never good. Dig into it a little, his shooting would drive you nuts if he was on this team. His FG% is covered up by his ability to hit the 0-3 foot shots at a high rate, everything else has fallen off significantly. He hasn't even hit a corner 3 all year.
  10. Some chodes at ESPN listed his top 100 prospects and the Astros had exactly zero guys make it. Neither Drew Gilbert nor Ryan Clifford made it either. Melton made rank 81 for the Rays, so good for him. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/47684202/top-100-mlb-prospects-2026-kiley-mcdaniel-konnor-griffin-kevin-mcgonigle-jesus-made
  11. We had one. His name was Cam Whitmore Have you seen his stats on the Wizards? He's regressed significantly. Too bad for him and the Rockets, because he would have had an opportunity to be a good role player here and build a good reputation before hitting free agency. Would have been a good mutually beneficial situation.
  12. The team is just completely gassed and shorthanded. Only an 8 man rotation if you don't count Capela's 8 minutes. They have 11 bench points to the Spurs 38. There just isn't any depth to this team right now, missing 2 big guys in FVV and now Adams. They need to get some young guys that can be 8/9/10th guys off the bench to help get through the regular season.
  13. Alright, so we lose Sengun for a while with an ankle injury. Surely nothing else can go wrong this season, right?
  14. What the fuck are you talking about? Dort shoves him 2-3 times before Fears lays a finger on him. I'm sure Fears was caught off guard by Dorts reaction to a completely irrelevant play. It was a 9 point game in the last few seconds there, whether he scores the 2 or not makes no difference. Dort is the one creating a hostile situation over absolutely nothing and deserves a suspension given all his other bullshit antics.
  15. "I'm not looking to bring a boxer to a knife fight, I want the kind of guys that'll bring a gun to a kid's birthday party" hahahhahahaha holy shit that's a good line.
  16. Schroeder or Trey Murphy would be great to get, but the team is a bit limited on what it can do. Might just need to hope for a buyout guard to join the team and help platoon the 1/2 positions.
  17. The Cavs could swap Garland for MPJ due to their salaries being almost exactly the same, and I can't say I'm opposed to it. Garland has more years remaining, but is younger and could develop into a really good player. MPJ only has 1 more year after this and is also a bit of a gamble every season from a health perspective. This current form of the Cavs ain't winning much, likely 2nd round exit again. Garland is sort of an injury-prone guy but some of those have been freak accidents. Swapping him for a big dude that can rebound and hit 3s might be retool the team in the right way. The Cavs can only trade players 1 for 1 because they are over the 2nd apron, and the salaries have to be very close, so there aren't a lot of trades available to them. Might be worth kicking around, depending on what the Nets expect in return. Not sure they will get a better player than Garland for him, but who knows.
  18. Yeah, and they don't have much of a future to work with in the next couple years. This is a long rebuild for the Bucks, they need to get a big return with lots of future picks to make it worthwhile. Taking on salary dumps is the best way to accumulate assets and turn it around. They can't afford to get into a Trae Young type situation when they don't own most of their own upcoming picks. The other option I saw floated was trading him to Portland to get all their picks back plus a few players. I can't imagine any team doing that, but it would probably be the fastest way to rebuild, since they could tank and get their own picks to work for them immediately. It would be a hard pill to swallow. In any case, I can't see many teams bidding for him, he just seems like a torn ACL waiting to happen. Calf injuries this close together does not bode well for his leg's health outlook, unless this one is just made up bullshit because he's done with the team and wants to force a trade.
  19. Who is Katie? Is this an AI generated tweet?
