  1. Someone pull the used tampons out of 6th Street's mouth so he can comment on this disaster.

"No no, he didn't say Iceland, he said ice land. Because Greenland is a land of ice." This works on much of America.
  3. I don' think that dude has lived in the US for years and years. He always seems to be living and renting weekend hookers in Mexico for ages. But he loves this country, I'm sure.
  4. For the purposes of this exercise, lets take your post and assume that what you say is true. That everything is repeated on every thread, there's no new jokes, etc. If that's true, why is it do you think that everyone just keeps taking exception with solely you when it happens? You know, other than the fact that you're the one fucking that same chicken over and over in every thread. Do you think maybe you want to apply some introspection? I didn't think so, but it was worth a shot.

I've had a few of these over the years. Mostly on the football board, which apparently is the Donald Trump of Surly.

Holy shit, dude. He was making a joke because we already are a part of what you fucking described, it's called NATO. Holy shit. Did you get hit by a bus last night and get brain damage? And then you mention NATO in your next paragraph? Everyone knows most of the European countries haven't spent enough on NATO until recently. At the same time, the cost of "defending" greenland would fall solely on the US if we fucking bought/acquired/invaded it, or if we added more bases and missile silos for defense. So it's either we do it after we buy it (costly) or invade it (costly) or we just fucking build the bases now which we've always had the ability to do anyway BECAUSE WE'RE IN FUCKING NATO.

Years? Dude, this is decades at best. Maybe a century. And that's if we stop TODAY.
  8. I propose you get fucked. Colin Simmons had to be swayed from turning away from LSU by a big, big monetary package when he was a HS recruit. I guess that makes him a Longhorn of Convenience? Please, go ahead and outline your fucking purity tests for a "real" longhorn.
  9. I dunno, we have 6th St as a poster here as well.
  10. I'm shocked, shocked that a bunch of mostly old dudes are shaking their fists at the clouds because things just weren't the same as they were back in their day! Fucking circle of life. Get a fucking job, you hippy! Back when I was a kid, we had to walk 5 miles in the cold each way to school and back! Fucking Millennials and Gen Z have no work ethic. Blah Blah, hey, what time does CSI: Retirement Home come on CBS?
  11. We looked closer at him and decided he wasn't even worth bringing in for a fucking visit, and he lives 30 minutes down the road, but don't let that alter you're narrative of cocksuckery in any way.
  12. Questions like these would be another example of why, say, a lawsuit like this matters to college football.
  13. You don't get why it matters that this is the second instance ever of a college suing a player for violating a signed NIL deal? In a marketplace that is perpetually in flux? And that's if you're ignoring the fact that on it's basic recruiting level, it impacts who might start for Duke or Miami next year, as well as the perception of recruits that might want to sign with a school like, say, Duke? Or Washington? You're right, none of that matters at all in the sport of college football. "Hey, world, China has just invaded Taiwan." "Yeah, I don't get why that even matters. There's been plenty of wars before. Nothing new under the sun." "What about the fact that we've pledged to defend them? What about the fact that 80% of the worlds semiconductors are manufactured there? Or outside of supply chain, how about that supply chain coming under the control of a hostile foreign entity?" "I said I don't get why it fucking matters, guys." Ok.
  14. Sounds like some kind of communist bullshit, poor boy.
  15. Mitchell's biggest motivating factor to return to the state of Texas was to be nearer his newborn kid. It's a pretty specific motivation. He loved being a Georgia Bulldog. Hey, Texas 3-putt, have you considered reading the thread?
  16. Because I don't trust Kyle Flood for shit at this point. Which I guess falls under current situation. But specifically, I think of guys like Josh Sharma and Myron Charles which Gerry and others think are bonafide studs waiting to happen, but didn't play much or at all this year (thanks, Sark, and your perpetual hatred of early blowouts). Pretty sure we paid decently to keep those guys on the roster.
  17. Yes. With the transfer portal era, like Snyder and the Juco before it, there is just something to be said for guys who've been coached and have experience in games and S&C for multiple years. Texas is in the unique position where we can afford to acquire that talent, while also paying the young obvious superstars out of HS to pick Texas, and to pay to stay at Texas while they develop. The Colin Simmons, Anthony Hills, young DL types that play early or are surefire stars that you can pay to sit and develop. Very few programs can afford to have it both ways, and Texas is one. Pepper that in with getting good guys in the portal at OL or offensive skill players each year or two, and you're cooking.
  18. So....the fact that the carts weren't at the spot where there are now products was irrelevant to where they keep them now because there were no carts at all? And you're real gripe is it was busy?
  19. You shouldn't consider it River Oaks. Because it's not. It's fucking Montrose. It's an extra 10 steps from under the escalator compared to where they used to be in your picture. While I'm not sure you can make it those extra few steps without a coronary, I think it's likely that you'll be ok. Unless you were looking for one of the rascals.
  20. Jimbo Fisher is rich. Helobious is from the Valley.
  21. Is his S&C secret that he's only training dudes aged 22 and up? Not sure that's replicable without the help of his HC and AD.
  22. Probably because he belongs at a place like coastal carolina?
  23. I hate all of you so, so much.
  24. Think they were talking about Wardell Mack, sir.
  25. Yup, in midtown at Front Porch pub. That was the same night. Good times, good times
