  1. So I got into a little trouble, big deal. No one ever mentioned you can’t bring Tito’s Minis into the facilities. And for the record, I didn’t ‘pull my pants down,’ they slipped down due to my belt giving out. And WTF was Muschamp’s wife doing on the facilities tour anyways? And I wasn’t arrested, I was just placed in protective custody until the whole misunderstanding was cleared up and released after my wife paid the bond. Heck, me and the cops were laughing on the drive down the station. Anyways, my court appointed lawyer is gonna be pissed that I’m discussing this.
  2. In other words, he's telling us that he didn't do his job. Couple that with his bizarre comments that he couldn't run the offense because he had to baby-sit the defense tells me that he doesn't understand what his role is. The stakeholders don't expect Sark to run the offense. They expect him to produce a championship team.
  3. Ranking the NFL Quarterbacks in the 2026 NFL Draft 1 Cade Klubnik (Clemson): Now considered the top option above Fernando Mendoza, who is falling fast due to tanking his late-night-talk-show appearance 2 Fernando Mendoza (Indiana): Not as mobile or accurate as Klubnik. Plus there are questions about his work-ethic and attitude and his late-night-talk-show appearance, which was kinda...awkward 3 Ty Simpson (Alabama): High-ranked QB with strong potential except with Cade Klubnik available, he may want to consider converting to tight end, or maybe a coordinator 4 Garrett Nussmeier (LSU): Was an early top-prospect but the poor season hurt his stock. However, Cade Klubnik's stock actually went up despite his poor season, which really wasn't his fault at all. 5 Carson Beck (Miami/FL): Top-tier experienced starter who could develop into a good role-player if he could sit and learn behind Cade Klubnik, who already knows everything 6 Drew Allar (Penn State): Cited as a top prospect in early rankings but fell, due to his poor play and team issues, which hasn't been a problem for Cade Klubnik, as his bad season is seen as a major plus 7 Taylen Green (Arkansas): Included in early big boards, but scouts have privately expressed concern that he isn't Cade Klubnik, who is easily the top prospect over Fernando Mendoza, who is kinda annoying

BK is a friend and is my favorite person who covers Texas. He is so smart and really funny. And yeah, maybe he reads Surly.

Excuse me? We've done it seven minutes in the Surlymobile.
  6. And they wanted to pay a fortune more to break their contract and leave the ACC, even though the ACC had a team in the national championship. Delusional.
  7. The schools are doing such a great job of managing the current landscape right now: "Florida State closed fiscal year 2025 with $437 million in athletics-related debt, according to its latest financial disclosures to the NCAA, a $200 million increase from the prior fiscal cycle and a higher total than any public FBS program reported in FY24."
  8. Different game now for sure. Indiana has done the best job of navigating the new landscape. A year ago, I would have been excited about Texas picking up the HS QB recruit they just signed. Now it seems besides the point of how to build a team.
  9. Of course, the random weirdness of the bets and the huge payouts tipped off the law. A $450K payout on whether Clase's first pitch in the fifth inning would be a ball. The pitch didn't even make it halfway to home plate, hahah. Allegedly, he was texting the bettors from the dugout. What an idiot.
  10. "The allegations against Emmanuel Clase appear to stretch much further than previously known. A court filing has revealed that the Cleveland Guardians closer is accused of manipulating pitches in 48 different MLB games over the span of two years..." "If the 48-game figure is correct, that would mean Clase threw suspicious pitches (i.e. intentional balls to allegedly help his co-conspirators win prop bets) in 27% of his appearances with the Guardians in that span." Source: Yahoo Sports In my opinion, there is no way that there are not NFL and college football players manipulating games.
  11. Perhaps the bet is about who many sacks or pressures a defensive player gets, or how many interference penalties a WR creates. There are so many blatant examples of missed blocks or PI on seemingly every play now. Who is to say some of the missed blocks or PI calls were't intentional? You and I have no way of knowing.
  12. Fair point, but it's a new game with online prop bets. Since you can make up bets about pretty much anything, you have Cleveland pitchers paid to make sure their first pitch in the fifth inning is a ball, making bettors hundreds of thousands of dollars. Perhaps we are watching the same w NFL players and refs without understanding what we are watching. And with college players who have already figured out they don't have an NFL path and have nothing to lose, why wouldn't they collect money to change a game?
  13. I disagree. We have some pretty high-level proof and confessions of cheating in college basketball, NBA and MLB. We also have former mobsters saying they've had players fixing NFL games for decades. I think it's safe to assume there has been players shaving points in college football and the NFL. Here, Michael Franzese references a New York Jets running back he got in debt to the mob and had to shave points by fumbling.* *Of course, the Jets are so bad, who could tell if they were throwing games?
  14. Since everyone is stuck on repeat, here is some EDM from Kosana to enjoy while you read the posts:
  15. I totally agree. Also, here are some simple grammar improvements for your post: There have been a lot of sickos posting here over the years. The control-freakish, gatekeeping grammar Nazis are pretty low on the sickness scale. Please do better!
  16. Everything the NFL and college football does is based on greed.
  17. I am glad about that. Watching three or four teams dominate year after year sucked.
  18. I actually give them credit for turning something unwatchable (the old version) into something bizarre. Also, it keeps players from getting hurt in a stupid exhibition game. At least they tried to reinvent something that was a failure.
