So he thought Bengals QB Ken Anderson, who appeared in one Super Bowl, (which they lost) was a more worthy HOF candidate than Bill Belichick, hahahah? Thanks heavens there was no pettiness involved.
Belichick is an asshole but he was a great coach. His defenses were outstanding, and most of the Super Bowl players were no-names, with a few exceptions, like Randy Moss. His running backs were always afterthoughts, yet they did enough. Remember when he moved players from offense to defense to fill holes? His QB was a sixth round pick. I’m enjoying the endlessly entertaining clown-show he is now, but he should be in the HOF.
I also find it almost beyond belief that someone would allow themself to be represented by such a laughably dishonest statement. It makes him look, at best, really dumb.
Right? I'm not sure how voting for the people you think should get in could violate their bylaws. Perhaps it refers to some kind of conspiracy amongst the voters to keep Belichick out. Or it's just an awkward attempt to spin the bad PR.
Not sure about getting this guy, but we should definitely sign the guy who chased him down and tackled him 8 yards in the end zone after Mosley scored. That kid doesn't give up!
At some point, someone from their marketing department should step in and help him dress in a more flattering way. It’s as if he purposely picks the worst outfit possible.
Put it on the wall! Whoop!!!!!! Also, I hope Vanderbilt isn't fraudulently including Pavia's family arrests. If so, that's not fair because they weren't enrolled or on the team.
Curious if the lawyers here think he will get off with community service. He has no prior record, he has already served a few days, and even the prosecution says he threatened to kill himself, not the girlfriend.
Sad story, for sure on many levels. Everyone deserves a fresh start, but some people are just bad news and he may very well ruin her life, too. Because my life is fairly sheltered now, I don't get a lot of exposure to the deeply uneducated. For this reason, it's always shocking when I read Nextdoor posts and realize how many adults in seemingly nice neighborhoods can't string together coherent sentences or thoughts.
Thought you might enjoy this 10-step portal instruction guide created by a professional recruiter. Most of it seems fairly obvious, but I can see how it would help someone, especially an athlete who has everything previously taken care of him by the school.
It's no longer 1998. The coaches last year didn't prepare well enough for that contingency by findng suitable replacements. They didn't seem to have planned well to replace the graduating players, which is why the season was kinda of shit show. Strange how you pumpers seem to be just fine with last season.
Not the same players. Texas ditched all those young players this January and replaced them with older players. Guessing the recruiting classes will be smaller now, as well. Gonna be tougher for kids coming out of HS to find a home.
