  1. I hear lots and lots of people say that they absolutely won’t do the surgery. The surgery changed my life. I had to do it twice, but that was my fault because I came back too soon from the first one and re-ruptured the same disc. My understanding, as someone posting from a Holiday Inn Express, is that once that disc is fully herniated or ruptured you’re not going to physical therapy it back into place. You could do that with a bulging disc but not one that’s completely herniated already. The gel from inside that disc is pressing on your nerves and causing pain and it’s like toothpaste from a tube. You’re not getting it back in. I’m sure everyone’s situation is different and lots of people can get by without the surgery. But if you need it, it works great. I’m 51 years old, several years removed from the discectomy, and I have no problem going to the gym and doing squats, launching my mountain bike off a 4 foot drop, running, sitting all day at work.. all the things that used to cause me pain I can do easily today because of the surgery
  2. Every single week the holder is placed too far back and too centered, limiting the run-up. And every single week the kicker fails to adjust the placement and get enough side-step in the run up. As soon as you see where they line up you know it’s a miss.
  3. That sounds about right sometimes. And if this is some measurable metric why is it always a nice round number divisible by 5 or 10. How come you never hear a trainer say that a player is 83% good? It all sounds like bullshit to me.
  4. Vince also had Vince on the team. And one of my favorite stats of all time: 32 players from the 2005 roster played in the NFL. The whole damn team was stacked. The entire secondary from 2005 probably starts on this team.
  5. For an injury like this is somebody actually measuring range of motion or strength or some other specific measurable metric to come up with these numbers like 70%? Or is that just some ballpark guess that someone thinks sounds about right?
  6. Cut your heel and have to cruise on back home?
  7. Stockton and Smoot are both foot/anke guys with TxOrtho. I know their knee docs and shoulder docs have all worked on a lot of UT players.
  8. No stupid fucking nicknames.
  9. Texas Ortho is a good group. Locations all over town. Various doctors in the group have put me back together again a few times. One thing I have appreciated is that they have x-ray and their own MRI on site so you don’t have to get sent to some shitty imaging center with a different appointment
  10. Muleshoe? The suckage of Lincoln Riley must’ve pulled it off the tracks.
  11. They were pointing fingers at the home inspector in that article several times. The home inspectors I have used were both very clear that they don’t inspect pools. You need a pool company to come do that. The inspection they gave to the house did not include anything about the pool. It’s simply not their area of expertise. I’d be surprised if those buyers in the article weren’t told the same thing.
  12. Another happy T-Mobile guy here. And if you’re a veteran you get worldwide (or pretty close to it) unlimited data for $55 a month. It works fine everywhere. I use Waze when I’m driving abroad. Asia, Europe, Latin America… never a problem. It’s been many years since I fucked around with sim cards or prorated international monthly add-ons.
  13. If these kids had more access to guns to play with they’d spend less time on their damn phones making threats.
  14. Same reason they say he got “shot in the head” in Pennsylvania.
  15. Depends on whether a bunch of Miami douchebags overloaded it or not.
  16. All water craft form a 39° wake. Ducks, kayaks, ski boats, aircraft carriers… The exception being if there are different currents under the surface. I don’t really know shit like that, but your post sent me down a rabbit hole.

Klatt has been great for a long time. He’s high on the Horns every year. It’s almost like some of Drew Kelson’s Longhorn passion got into Joel’s brain through osmosis in that collision years ago.
  18. Yeah, that was an ugly game. It was nice to see him perform well at the end though. Two touchdowns in three plays during overtime. He’s young and he’s got plenty of time to improve.
  19. Pretty surprising that a guy who has appeared in 8 career games, and still has 3 year of college ahead of him, isn’t looking like an NFL talent. We should shit all over him.
  20. Far from the first, Conner. Very very far.
  21. Love Colt and he was one of the greatest ever on this campus. But his shockingly great freshman year often causes his sophomore slump to be overlooked. He threw 18 interception says a sophomore. That’s 5 more than Quinn has thrown in his entire career up to this posting.
  22. She’s on her way back from Oregon and is newly single.
  23. He was having threesomes with both of them before he got dumped. That scenario is about as predictable as a girl with a shitty father needing love and attention so bad she’s unwilling to press charges and perfectly willing to run off with the guy who beats her.
  24. They started filming Project Hail Mary this summer. From the book of the same title by Andy Weir (The Martian). Gosling as Ryland Grace. No clue how they’ll create Rocky. Using the cinematographer from Dune. Great book. https://screenrant.com/project-hail-mary-movie-filming-start-image/
