  1. Agreed. Atkinson, Bishop, Cooper, and Samaria Matthews are who I'm most excited about. Atkinson, like you said, just seems to be built different. He's an absolute dawg who can go sideline to sideline, just like DJ. The good thing is Rasheem Biles will take over for Ant, while that leave the OLB spot open, which I believe Atkinson can take. He's just too good. He and Biles blowing people up this season will be the best reason for anyone to watch us play. Our LB unit as a whole is filthy. Biles and Smith can still co-exist, and then Atkinson and Spence can as well. Hopefully Okpala can be patient and develop to be another star next season after Biles declares for the draft, leaving Atkinson, Smith, Okpala, and Orogbo coming off the edge at times.
  2. Damn. I just read she has been living with it for 15 years. She's a warrior. I hope this kid makes it big. I have a cousin who has been diagnosed with a rare form of MS called PPMS (primary progressive multiple sclerosis). They actually thought she had Marbug, but it's PPMS. It made me think of her. There are apparently tons of non-profit orgs that take people who have MS on cruises, surfing, whatever. It's pretty crazy she's gotten to do a lot of stuff. She went from having a cane to now wheelchair-bound. It hurts to see her or anyone suffering with MS. It really brought me a new perspective on life, and more empath than I already had;; realizing sometimes my life doesn't always suck. She's the sweetest human being I know. Her kids are amazing. The worst part isn't that she has MS, it's that she is an aggy undergrad, but she has a doctorate from UT.
  3. You are correct—he worked with Atkinson in the summer of 2025, as well as Ant Hill, which is a huge reason why he's at Texas. I can't think of a better LB to be a mentor. I know he volunteered and mentored our LB unit in 2023 and 2024 on the team, but not sure about this past season (I would imagine he did). He absolutely loves Atkinson. He said he sees himself in the kid, and that gives me goosebumps. Like Johnson and Hill, he's a thumper and will be dominant. He'll play a lot this season.
  4. Or, and hear me out—all of the fire ants can take over that shitty school and eliminate their fans and students.
  5. That's why Scandinavian women are so hot. They pillaged and plundered and stole all the hot women to breed with.
  6. I was actually thinking that about DJ the other day when I was watching 3rd and Longhorn. He doesn't get the appreciation that he should. The dude is in the CFB HOF, and they still don't list him immediately. It's bizarre and kind of pisses me off. I believe he's their all-time leading tackle and will make the NFL HOF.
  7. Cougars are solitary animals and don't come in packs. But, if they did, the proper words would be either a range or clowder. A group of cheetahs are called a coalition, for our aggy posters on here so they know what to call their milk men when they whistle at them as they tra la la by.
  8. Jamaal, imo, is the most underrated RB who doesn't get mentioned often enough. That dude could hit 0-60 almost immediately and make you miss before you had any idea what you were supposed to be doing. Even opposing players looked like they were in awe. He, in my personal opinion, is an alternate on the Mount Rushmore of Texas RB's. Earl-Ricky-Ced-Bijan and then Jamaal if there were five heads. Those five were sick af to watch. I didn't get to see Earl, as I was too young; but I've seen so many highlights that I might as well have.
  9. Couldn't have said it better, except I would also add in he's the Brian Bosworth of coaches. An irredeemable piece of fossilized shit; and when the universe dissects him, all it will find a never ending conveyor belt of human trash repeating itself. Fuck Switzer, fuck Mayfield, fuck Bosworth, and fuck all Sooners. I do like @ChiTownDoc , though. He's cool in my book. I believe there is another Sooner on here who is pretty cool, and one of my best friends who graduated there, but got hjs masters at Duke. Other than that, fuck that gigantic middle school of urinals. I hope if they are reincarnated, they (every Sooner but the three aforementioned) come back as Rosie O'Donnell's toilet seat.
  10. We should just say fuck it, and start claiming titles when we finish in the top-25. It's the SECX3 way.
  11. I'm very curious to see how Clark does at South Carolina. He looked good in the bowl game, and we can't blame all of his failures on just him—our line went from leaking diarrhea to we plugged the asshole, kind of. Raleek and Hollywood are definitely an upgrade over Wisner, so I'm hoping we don't waste their potential. I want to see more of Simon before we make any conclusions about him. If we can actually run block, we may be able to have a functional offense top to bottom. WR (X/Z) - Upgrade with Coleman/Wingo/Lockett/Berkhaltzer/Terry (Ath who can go here or at the H. RB room is too crowded) Slot - Mosley is a bad ass, let's see if McCutcheon has gotten away from Jackson and learned to catch again. RB? Upgrade with Raleek/Hollywood/Simon/Cooper TE? Townsend is a beast, Winston seems to have great hands. Hopefully Manuas can unseat Shannon. OL? OT is settled one way or another, so we are fine. IOL? We'll see. Not even worried about the defense.
  12. I feel you. As someone who actually went from a Cowboys fan as a kid and switched to Tampa Bay; I knew it was time. This was after they hired Switzer, I saw that as unforgivable. That's how much I hate ou. I haven't looked back since. I follow my Bucs, but I'm more of a casual NFL fan. Sundays don't excite me like Thurs-Sat for college games. There's just something different about college than the pros. Maybe it's because I enjoy more upsets, I love seeing beat downs when it's not us receiving them, and the teams are more fun to follow. The rivalries are far superior in college. On another note, I also liked the Oilers (sacrilegious, I know) because I loved their unis, Warren Moon, Eddie George before they moved, Ray Childress, Bruce Matthews, Steve McNair, and obviously the GOAT Earl Campbell made those unis look sick af; same with Jim Brown and three Browns unis. They just made them look awesome. It doesn't hurt I'm a huge fan of the RB position. I don't need to mention the Cowboys players I really liked. They're pretty all unanimous with everyone else's list from Staubach, Emmitt, Larry Allen, and I can still appreciate players after I switched teams—such as Jason Witten, Micah Parsons (now with GB), etc. I just don't care to watch the team play, even if they make the playoffs. Now I'm just more interested in individual players all across the league, rather than focus on more than my own team. Once they moved to Tennessee, I said I'm done with both Dallas and the Oilers.
  13. Truth. I love that we don't have any competition regarding a pro sports team and we have a vibrant city.
  14. I want that hoodie Taaffe has on. Anyone know where I can get one?
  15. They look completely uninterested. Kind of like us when he did his "Gosh darm, they were just so good. We should give them orange slices as a thank you" post-game nonsense after a loss to ou.
  16. lol what the fuck would he know about that? Give Vince the ball and get out of the way. Talk Ricky into staying one more year. Feed Cedric every game but ou. In all fairness, he did let Jamaal and Ramonce go wild. That's the only nice thing I will say about him. Had he not been a total bitch when let go, I would be neutral about him. But he was bitch made and that killed any goodwill I had about him. This is the surprise you don't want
  17. Tall, shot, average height—who gives a shit? They all lay the same way and still have holes to plug.
  18. I think you mean the Western Kentucky guy, no?
  19. Probably Landon Williams-Callis, off the top of my head. But I haven't really been keeping up with recruiting since the portal shit and losing players every year. But yeah, he's a five-star RB out of Richmond, and plays at Randle according to 247.
  20. Man, am I glad it's not my team. Sorry, Bills mafia, this is what you get for being clinically brain dead from jumping on to tables like morons.
