  1. Yes, I get that. But as I said above apparently coaches must have a different waiting period. I don't know why. But he's 100% getting in, whether that be next year or 2030. The guy is a phenomenal HC, I will not dispute that. I have literally nothing against the man. If he didn't make it in I would be one of the people with a picket asking why tf is the greatest coach ever is not in when we're in the year 2035? He's getting in next year, and if he doesn't then we know someone (or people) have an axe to grind to make him wait it out. I want him in, he deserves it. Every great coach needs a great QB, and he had one.
  2. Dawg, my point is that even the best coaches have had to wait. He's getting in, it doesn't matter. So what if it's not in year one? Winningest coach or not, apparently they have a different criteria. I don't like or dislike the man, I'm neutral about him. He's a great coach, no doubt, but this hardly signals anything beyond "We, the people who cast the votes, do not give a fuck. You can wait another year or five, you're getting in; you know it, we know, deal with it." It's different for players, and why that is I have no idea, other than they were the ones driving the machine. They [the voters] could have a beef with him and want him to wait it out. He's a lock, dude. Who cares if he didn't make it in year one? I mean, honestly, does that really make a difference? No one in their fucking minds will ever leave him out. It may take another year or five, but the guy is 100% in.
  3. Who gives a fuck? He, like Eli Manning, will eventually get in. He has to wait, so be it. He wouldn't have 6 SB championships without Brady—this isn't news to anyone with functioning neurons (we have 86 billion firing, I would say if you have half of that firing at any given time you would accept it's the truth). That doesn't mean BB isn't a great HC—he is, as well as deserving as a DC for his stint with the NY Giants. He, like everyone else, we know who ran that horse. He had a god fall into his lap, and he reaped the rewards. Every great coach has to have a great QB. Even Tom Coughlin will be in eventually, and we've seen him do some stupid shit, but he had Eli Manning, who will eventually be in as well. Errryone just calm the fuck down. He'll get in, and probably next year. Even Vince fucking Lombardi had to wait, and it took 8 years, 7 of which he was alive; he was inducted posthumously in 1971; you know, the guy the championship trophy is named after had to wait, so Belichick is in. Jimmy Johnson had to wait a decade. Bill Walsh had to wait 5 years. Guys well ahead of BB with multiple trophies under their belt. BB is not a beautiful and unique snowflake. He is the same decaying organic matter as everyone else—8 SB's or not. Shit happens. It's a bureaucratical cesspool filled with guys who have egos and are insecure. Sometimes great coaches have to wait. It is what it is. Even John Madden had to wait, and he has a fucking game named after him, even with one trophy. A legend is a legend. I'm going to edit this so people stop getting hung up on the Cowher shit. It wasn't a direct comparison, it was merely stating a point that even great coaches, regardless of how many titles they have, have to wait. Only five HC'S have ever made it their first time— George Halas & Curly Lambeau (1963) inaugural class Tom Landy (1990)- the only one that matters because he's a Texas alum, fuck anyone else, IDGAF. Chuck Knoll (1993) Don Shula (1993) So 33 years was the last time a first time ballot HC made it. Thirty-three years. The only reason I put Eli Manning at the top is because both were eligible this year (Eli's second time), and he's a HOF QB, even if you don't like the guy (I do. He's hilarious, as is Peyton). Players probably get in first because they are the cogs that drive the machine, putting their bodies on the line week after week, year after year, injuries after injuries.
  4. My.god. How any punt and kick returners do we need? This is worse than UF softball coach loading up on the SS position instead of looking for pitchers.
  5. Welp. I guess those marketing geniuses are really slapping their own foreheads at the "go pro at something other than sports" bullshit.
  6. Back to making fun of the poverty programs
  7. I didn't want to stick around to see if she had two assholes and a dick to "surprise" me with next.
  8. Damn. I bet that dude could literally write several novels from everything I have seen and read about it. 90s backwards it was an insane time to be alive. AOL just wasn't getting it done, especially if you had siblings (I have four sisters) who would fuck it all up to call their friends. Finally my parents decided to get them all their own lines. We would skateboard every single day and the computer and internet, even while we had it, were kind of an afterthought. I was too busy eating pavement and trying stupid shit like when some friends and I jumped off the top of one of the junior highs and I broke my board and sense of danger. I had to have gone through at least 5-6 boards. That was our fun. Skaking empty pools (I wasn't great at, but I was good at rails and street, never really cared much for vert). Then of course girls, sneaking beer, sneaking porn, etc. Fun times.
  9. No, no, we went to HS together. This was a long ass time ago. I would not cheat on my (now ex) wife even if she is a sociopathic parasite.
  10. I should have known the Naval Academy only did undergraduate. Derp on my part. Edit: I was watching Andrew Bustamante (former CIA officer) and he said a ton of people who graduate from AFA, Naval Academy, and the USMA are prime hunting ground for the CIA. I found that pretty interesting, considering who they're looking for are those with 'psychopathic traits.' Both he and John Kiriakou (another former CIA officer) have said this. I find that interesting. They both said basically not that you want to kill, it's more if you're given a specific order you want hesitate to complete the mission; even if you have to "be their friend" for several years just to accomplish what needs to be done. I've read both of their books (they both have more than one, and I'm currently on Bustamante's second book) and the way they explain the process is almost casual. I assume it's due to everything they have to go through from the farm, "enhanced interrogation," etc. I recommend both of their books (all of them), as well as Nicholas Irving (a former Army Ranger sniper who has the most kills in a three month span). All three speak in a way that's calmiin, but Irving, you can tell has a calm demeanor about him. Nothing taught, just how he speaks. He's awesome to listen to on podcasts. All of them are, if you haven't done so.
  11. I can't decide if he's actually good or if he gets the benefit of the doubt because they aren't getting holding penalties even on obvious holds, or because Eli Stowers is a stud who bailed him out; plus dumbass refs missing obvious bullshit like the 2pt conversion that clearly did not reach the pylon.
  12. I have buddy who is clearly 5'10 and claims he's 6'0. Like no, dude. I just stopped arguing with him about it. It becomes futile, even after beer.
  13. That's actually a good idea for a troll game just to see how many women actually swipe because they just want that D and some company, only to be surprised when showing. But then we would have to tell them we're mildly regarded, but we make up for it. They wanted 6'0 or taller...they never said we can't be dim. I may make an account just to see. I'll put 5'8 just to see who likes it. But I'm not paying for that premium shit. It'll probably be all butch women or feminists who refuse to shave their armpits or some shit.
  14. You're probably right, but at the same time you have these women who are 5'0 and want a man who is 6'0. Like, wat? You wouldn't even know the difference between 5'8 and 6'0. I really also think it's an echo chamber and women (and men) just repeat the same shit because everyone else says it, so I must be wrong. It's seriously dumb. I get a woman who is 5'9 or taller wanting a man her height or taller, but those tiny chicks need to dial it back. They have distorted themselves into believing there 4 billion six-feet tall men, they just get unlucky.
  15. I did get head from a chick who was plump and it was chef's kiss, I gotta agree. Dem titties and that ass were fire. That woman knew her way. If her husband didn't pass away recently I would give her a call, but even I have to hang my head in shame for even thinking about it.
  16. To be real—yes, I have to be physically attracted to the person, but someone with an awesome personality makes them so, so much better looking. Personality will always win in the end. If you can makes me actually laugh, like really laugh hard, they're probably a keeper. I'll deal with her getting fat over the years.
  17. I'll never understand the over 6'0 thing, and I'm 6'2. It just doesn't make sense to me. Why would anyone care how tall someone is? I've dated women anywhere from 5'2-5'10, and they all have pussy. The lying thing, imo, became rampant because it's the internet and filters exist, but they don't understand the consequences. Correlation meets causation. Correlation doesn’t mean the lie creates the flaw—just that it keeps showing up next to it. You can't trust dating apps.
  18. Exactly. There is slight exaggerating (1" taller) and then there is full on lying (claims to be 6'3, is actually 5'10). Forgot to mention, but someone up thread talked about women sending pictures from 2 years prior—that actually happened to me when i went to meet a woman. I walked in and she was a good Vic Mackey-loving 50lbs more than her prior picture. Had she been honest, I probably wouldn't have cared, but I was just so turned off by the fact that if she could lie about that, what else is she willing to do?
  19. Not enough Adidas track suits for my liking.
  20. Reminded me of this. Great documentary if you haven't seen it. It's about an extremely dangerous (former) amusement park in NJ. It's hilarious hearing stories from comedians who lived in the state or went there on vacation. That place looked insane af. Many knarly injuries, 14-year old lifeguards, some tragic deaths (unfortunately). The late 70s to 90s wrapped up into one amusement park.
