  1. The MAGA ethos in a nutshell. Attack the weak, and declare that makes you strong. Fucking. LOSERS. There is not one MAGA -- not a single one -- who is not a complete and total pathetic fucking loser at life.
  2. Had dinner with a church group Sunday night - Presbyterians, so yeah, mostly progressive white folks. Some peers of ours were discussing the travails of their (adopted, mexican from mexico) daughter, who is dating a really good guy (kind, progressive, professional, all the good stuff).....whose parents are MAGA from Wichita Falls. This coming week, the parents are meeting for the first time. And they were talking about how they couldn't reconcile the other folks' MAGA views with the fact that they also seemed to love and approve of their brown daughter. I laughed, and said "it's easy -- they've just decided that 'she's one of the good ones.'" Multiple heads around the table turned, some eyes got wide. And I laughed again. "People....look at my last name. I've heard that as an aside PLENTY of times in my life. Somebody rants about 'all the damned mexicans around here ruining things, they're all lazy, they'll steal your tools, blah blah blah. Oh....but not you, Brisket. You're one of the good ones.'" They continued with "so...that's a real thing?" I was kind of annoyed that it seemed so shocking to them. And mind you, I say this as someone who looks pretty fucking gringo, spent my whole life in "top student" groups at school, am a successful professional, etc. And no, it's not a phrase I hear very often anymore, but in my younger days.....yeah, fuckers. The casual racism to which I was exposed was ubiquitous. Including by "but they're really good folks, I can't believe they'd be racist" types. Living and moving in those circles, where people say things when they think they're in a "safe space," well, we know what's up. And no, I've NEVER understood hispanics who don't at least have their guard up with respect to white power structures (esp. the GQP). We've proven that we CAN all get along and work together....but in case you've missed it, the last 10 years in particular have shown that those same people who you thought were alright will fucking turn on you on a fucking dime. 40% of this country thinks that I am not, and will never be, a "real American" because of my last name. Period. It's a bright line, and they will never get on the right side of it. Never, ever forget that.
  3. FIF accuracy.
  4. Yep. I’ve known more than a few AUSAs (both while they were at DOJ and after). They are, to the man/woman, damned good lawyers. And on top of that, most of them are on the top end of ethical/integrity. Like, “lawful good” on the D&D scale. And I’ve known some of various political persuasions, the same goes across the board. Incompetent MAGA true believers will not be well received by their peers, or by federal judges used to competence and integrity.
  5. He didn't even have to think. His greatest skill is (nope, not football) fucking up Texas Dem senate campaigns. His, Talarico's, doesn't matter. If there's a chance of a Dem to beat a Republican in a Senate race, Colin Allred is there to fuck it up.
  6. Dumbass said too much. "I characterized his campaign as mediocre, not him. And his campaign was mediocre - Colin Allred is a good and capable man who could have and should have done better. Texans deserve a winner who will fight for them. I will."
  7. Did you miss the part where I will shamelessly spew a torrent of unending lies? So, yeah, I promise all three, to you specifically. And you will come up to me and thank me, with tears in your eyes....
  8. Alright, alright. I get it, I hear you. I'll run for POTUS in '28.
  9. Yep. This is King Herod country. With maybe a little bit of Pharoah and Judas thrown in for flavor....because you damned well know every GQP official would sell out every person in Texas for 30 pieces of silver (actual or metaphorical -- maybe "30 crypto shitcoins" would match up best in this timeline?)
  10. And see, here's the thing.....I never lost one millisecond of sleep worried about whether I would show up in the Epstein files. I've also never worried whether someone examining me under oath would catch me in a "perjury trap." I have never worried about my tax returns being released and exposing me to humiliation and shame. Because I'm not (and these are important things NOT to be) a pedophile, a perjurer, or someone who commits financial crimes. It's amazing how worry-free much of your life can be if you are not a pathologically criminal piece of shit.
  11. So....you've just nominated Pepe for a spot in Trump's cabinet?
  12. Dude.....we don't kink shame around here.
  13. I really don't think y'all will have to wait for long. We've got the pedal to the floor towards Destination Disease Outbreak.
  14. I honestly thought the account was satire for the longest time, because it's too insanely stupid to possibly be real. But...I think it's real. He's a real person. And the real nominee to be a US ambassador. Satire is dead, my friend. Reality has utterly lapped it and left it for dead.
  15. That's incorrect. For example, did you know he played football at Baylor?
  16. Colin Allred.....hey.....didn't I hear something about him once playing football for Baylor?
